Oh hey it's me, the friend. Digging in trying to find the cause, I have a dedicated machine that I run game servers on, this machine has had no issues running some of the most massive packs out there including a few All the Mods packs. there may me a particular mod in this pack causing these lag issues

Will poke around and see what I can find, server is running V10 but running into these issues even when only 1 person is logged in and playing O_o same machine at one point had ATM6 with 6-7 people connected, didn't even sweat lol

That could help

Binary searching is taking half mods out, if problem persist with the half mods, then do the same thing with those. If problem no longer accors, its in the mods you took out, so remove the working ones out, and start doing the half off to the suspected ones

Yup, starting it up now, Unfortunately it’s not on an SSD so it takes a bit to start up with forge every time 😅 I’ll be doing this in the background

small update, curse was handling the updates strangely, it had the most recent update set to v4 insted of v10, and refused to tell me that there was even a way to update. im inclined to believe something happened during pack install initally, that bugged curse out, had to uninstall the pack and reinstall through the versions tab to even get it to the most updated version

I found this on the internet

Tell him to not move after he goes through. If you go into a portal and don't touch anything, you won't go back through, but, if you try to move, and because of lag, (From loading a bunch of chunks), you will rubberband back and that will let you go back through the portal. When he goes through the portal, just tell him not to touch anything for 30 seconds or so.

Ur side: you have to go to ur modpack installation and Grap the same file from same folder. Not sure how to get there tho :/.

Hmm, I would still recomend to wait for apex to update to v11. Seems to have fixed crashes too. But you can try out v10 too :D. Just be informed that it will most likely crash and some other problems.

it's probably on me, but I cannot for the life of me get optifine to run with this modpack on my pc at least. tried for hours today and hours yesterday but always the same 3 results which just resulted in crashes and it loosing response. I did everything you showed in the video on how to install it for the 36.0.42 forge version, thinking it would work because I couldn't get the newest version of forge to work with the newest version of optifine, but I still got the same results. a crash :(( and alot of them

yes I'm using that version, it was doing that at first and just working, but I went to go set shaders and the game crashed. afterwards everytime I tried to click and wait for it load after that it wouldn't load after about 5 minutes so I just had the program close. as of now I just deleted the mod pack and everything to do with it until I can figure it out

alright forsure, surprisingly I used to run SUES renewed on this thing💀 to be fair I only ran 60 mods but that world got a ticking world error so here I am trying to find an amazing modpack close to what I was trying to do in my old world. so I'll try again tomorrow, pretty soon I'm upgrading to an alienware aurora 11 with a liquid cooled ryzen 5 5600x , 16g ddr4 dual channel, and an rtx3060ti. so hopefully I'll definitely be able to run this modpack with shaders in all its glory with that setup🤣

omg i absolutely burnt the game to the ground i killed the ender dragon, finished my raid (even though my dragon sadly died by the golem : ( ) and now im looking forward to making enderite and idk, explore the endgame end

featherite is kinda bad for fighting tbh but it technically grants movement speed, no fall damage, slow fall (so helpful) and with ruby juju and emerald juju u get water breathing and fire resistance so its so good for exploring in the overworld

and from my experience craft a tackle box, gold hook and worms found on worm composters and a diamond fishing rod, enchant it with luck of sea, more level the better and if you fish for like 15 minutes you should get atleast 1 neptune's bounty which gives u a neptunium piece (ingot/armor/weapons/tools). If u farm that, you'll literally be perfect underwater and have better armor than diamond i think. and its ez

how to i get optifine to install and work with the mod pack? i installed optifine from my downloads folder and copied and pasted it into the mods folder but it crashes once it reaches 100%. It also says "stay true"on the loading screen which is different from normal start up without optifine.

#faq be patient. The game goes unresponsive during loading with optifine but comes back fine if you just wait a bit.

Hey all, could someone possible run me through on how to install Better minecraft onto my bisect server? I've gone for the budget option due to well budget reasons, and im a tad unsure how to install the modpack to my server? I can easily install forge to the server, just unsure how to get the rest of the stuff over there? Is it as simple as dragging the config, global data packs, global resource packs, mods and scripts over to my main root folder for the server?

Yeh i got an FTP program, using WinSCP

im currently logged into the server on it

yeah just use that, install forge 36.1.0 then after it creates the server go into WinSCP and drag all the mods and configs and global data packs and server icon into your server files

Fabric is using Sodium and it's surrounding mods for performance. Optifine is not compatible with those.

I am the author of Simple Discord RPC and I noticed the fabric version of the modpack uses my mod, but the forge version doesn't. I'm just curious, did the mod in the forge version support the config file of my mod as is, or was the values simply copied over?

I went with Macaw's furniture when I wanted a bit of added decoration. It's not as vast as Crayfish but the design is basically vanilla textures and it fit in well

I think Sharkie didn't want to add it because of the way he goes about things. It's not something Mojang would create for MC as official content.
