Have you tried to uninstall Minecraft entirely?

It seems like the fatal error appears during base Minecraft initialization

So I'd suggest uninstalling the pack, uninstalling Minecraft entirely, reinstalling MC, installing 1.16.5 version, running it once and then installing the pack.

Might possibly fix.

why joining via LAN? you used the serverpack and launched the server there? if you you join by Multiplayer and so does your friend but if public ip doesnt work then try ipv4:25565 and if doesnt work then your port forwarding doesnt work

If your PC only has 8gb of RAM you won't be able to play the modpack. I've seen it cap 8gb allocated JUST for the modpack. Your PC won't be able to run

Because the modpack requires more RAM than your PC is capable of. Even if you just allocated 6gb, that leaves 2gb for your PC to run Windows and everything else in the background - which isn't enough.

those leaves are from the stay true texture pack, if you want you can either remove the texture pack or get the No Bushy Leaves Addon from the stay true page and drag it into the resourcepack folder on curseforge launcher

Today I switched to the new version (v8) in CurseForge and the world I created seems to have disappeared. Even switching to the previous version didn't bring anything, the world was completely reset there. -_- It's probably my own fault I didn't make a backup ... but it would be good if you could warn in the notifications that something like this could happen to people like me who think you can just update the version. @edgy mica

Optiforge just makes Optifine compatible with forge under certain conditions but.. Optifine's compatible with this pack as it is on it's own. Optiforge is completely useless in this case.

If that's not enough, try the Fabric version of the pack. It's much more performance focused. Either that or the Forge Lite version

No clue about that version yet. It came out whilst I was asleep so I've yet to even install it myself. Since it's new, there might be issues so if you find any other, post them here.

So I have been encountering this bug before. After 1 minute in to the world the game freezes and I have to shut it down. I was doing little research and I found out it happens from version v7 to the most recent ones... and in v7 was added chunk pregenerator. Could be there a problem? My PC isnt a total potato and I have dedicated 8 GB of ram to it, but it still freezes and when I remove chunk pregen mod my game wont load worlds to. It gets stuck on 100% and its doing nothing

If you’re using v7, make sure you run the forge installer jar file to get the correct forge server jar file. If you’re running an older version that has the herobrine mod, try removing that.

The setup and everything went well and its stable me and my friends downloaded the pack and one of them the server files.
we made sure that everything has the same version but for some reason we cant connect to the server cuz its always saying that we (not the host he can join) cant join the server cuz we are missing mods wich is completly stupid cuz we all downloaded the same stuff.
