The game keeps crashing on the Lunapixel screen. I've tried repairing and reinstalling already.

• For Intel, you probably want to press "Get Started" under the "Automatically update your drivers and software", which will simplify the process and update everything automatically
• For AMD you probably want to just press "Download Windows Drivers", which will download something called AMD Adrenaline, which will update your drivers automatically.

3. Run the installation, restart your computer, and try playing MC again

• At this point, hopefully your Minecraft is running. If it still does not work, please post any new logs and staff will help assist you with finding the right solution.

Transferring Your World

If you're playing Singleplayer and want to transfer your world to your server, simply go to your modpack files and navigate to the saves folder. Inside of this folder, you will see your world saves. Rename your desired world save to world. You can then transfer this folder to your server files. If your world was hosted via world sharing, this process has to be done by the person who would click "Share World".

Fixing Lag

To resolve lag issues, simply run the !tps command in #bots and follow the directions provided.

Hey all - I’m running into a chest-sorting issue and wanted to see if anyone else has hit this recently.

Server: MC 1.21.1, BMC5 v44.5 (NeoForge)
Mod: ClientSort installed server-side and client-side

When I try to sort certain inventories, I get this error:

“Server does not support this operation in this inventory. Check game logs for more info.”

I did some testing to isolate it:
Sorting works for:
Single wooden chests
Barrels
Ender chests

Sorting does not work for:
Double (merged) wooden chests

This happens regardless of location (claimed/unclaimed, naturally generated or player-placed).
What’s throwing me off is that I was able to sort double chests until yesterday, and nothing obvious changed on my end.

Has anyone else seen this?
Is this a known regression or compatibility issue with ClientSort / NeoForge / 1.21 double-chest inventories?

A change was made to the build, I am a player from Belarus and found a translation of the quests into Russian, the crash occurs about 2 minutes after the launch of the world, the problem occurred after 5-6 hours of playing in one world. I'll attach the translation file for the assembly.

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The 'Essential' mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the 'Open to Lan' or 'Share World' button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

The assembly started to fail when I started breaking cables to chests from the shared item storage branch.

I tracked the solution down with some help from AI. ClientSort had auto-blacklisted double chests (net.minecraft.world.CompoundContainer) after detecting an unexpected inventory state (anti-dupe safety check). Once that entry was created, the server refused to sort any double chests.

Fix was simple: I removed the CompoundContainer entry from config/clientsort-server.json and reloaded ClientSort. Sorting works again.

If it reappears, it just means ClientSort detected another mismatch and re-blacklisted it.

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The 'Essential' mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the 'Open to Lan' or 'Share World' button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

Transferring Your World

Oh the one thing that does help a lot is finding the dungeon with Protection 8 mobs

The zombies usually drop them, I had smite V and Loot 3 on a diamond sword

If you can get Prot 8 on full diamond you should be fine tbh

5. The game always crashes, I actually can't even join my own server now without entirely crashing it for everyone and myself.
6. I was looking for something called an "Overworld City" with a map I got from a Wandering Trader, and every time I get close to the location, it starts to lag and won't load the blocks in front of me. This proceeds to lag the entire server, and eventually just leads to a crash. For context, I am running the server with 14GBs, and only had 2 players on at the time of the crash. I tested it by trying to get on by myself, but because I left in that location, it just crashes every time I load in. Please help.

Cause if it's tping, I've had issues from that as well on modded servers, especially if there's a ton of entities from someone being near it, so if staff tp to it, they just crash themselves or the server. I've had to do inching method towards the area, and letting the despawning timer count down to let it take care of the excessive entities when it is that case at least.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.

To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

Hello, I tried installing better MC 5 neo forge but it runs on my integrated graphics instead of GPU. I already did the graphics configuration thing to "force" javaw to run on GPU but it didn't change at all. I didn't have this problem with the fabric version but for what I can see the neoforge version is a newer version so I wanted to play it.

The easiest way to downgrade mod versions to their original versions in the pack, is to reinstall the pack itself. Before you uninstall, back up both any singleplayer world files you have, and your map folder. LPS packs usually use JourneyMap or Xareos, the map folder will be named accordingly.

• Curseforge -> Right click the modpack instance -> „Open Folder”.
• ATLauncher -> Click „Open Folder” on the modpack instance.
• PrismLauncher -> Select your instance and click „Folder” on the right.

Navigate to the "minecraft" folder, and within that will be "saves" and "journeymap"/"xareos" depending on which the pack has. Copy/Move these folders to a safe location, and you can move them right back to the fresh copy of the pack when reinstalled.

I transferred from the CurseForge app to ATLauncher because I was having a few problems with the game on the CurseForge app, and now, even though all the mods, datapacks, resource packs, absolutely everything is 1:1 exactly the same as it was on CurseForge, my last save, which I played on CurseForge, doesn't want to work on ATLauncher and shows me this message every time. Just to be sure, it's absolutely the same, I even manually copied all the files from CurseForge to ATLauncher, and it's still the same. Does anyone have any idea what I can do about this?

Currently LPS packs are not being updated on the Modrinth site, and as such are outdated. This is while the devs figure out a way to automate uploads of the pack properly.

Until the packs can be properly updated, we recommend using ATL (use !alternates in #bots for further info on the installation process ) or Prism launcher. You can download the CurseForge version of our packs on these launchers while still being able to make instances from Modrinth versions of other packs not owned by us.

Please note this does not apply to individual mod projects of developers at LPS.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.

To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

Helloooo, I have a question ✋
I'm currently on a quest for every dragon egg from the dragon mounts remastered mod, but I've run into a problem with getting the sculk dragon. On the server I'm on it says in quests that there's a 15% chance to find them in ancient cities (I'm assuming in loot chests) however I've looted about 40 chests from that city alone and have found none. So I loaded up another world in creative and did the same, checking every chest and still did not find one. Is this an issue with me being insanely unlucky or is it plausible that with the new structures added from a different mod, the loot chests from those structures don't have the required tag(?) for the dragon egg to have a chance to spawn in? I unfortunately can't change the config file to be able to craft blank eggs as I don't have control over the server or anything. Any info would help thanks 🙏

Java has crappy garbage collection. It can't handle excessive ram pushing as it can't filter it properly. do 8 gigs.

You got tons of other games and programs out there that you can use the extra ram on, but mc isn't the kind of game that can handle that load on itself

If you read the guide, it'd tell you that eating the jellyfish (jelly?) makes your skin glow rainbows, but you can remove this by using a sponge on the air.
