It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

Hi, I'm having issues with vein mining on a server (using the latest version of bmc3). i edited the veinmining-client.toml file in the config folder of my server. Somehow it works in singleplayer but not when i change it on a server. anything i'm missing here?

I am the server OP and i do have access to the server through ftp so I just checked the files and edited the veinmining-client.toml to bypass the keybinding and change it to crouching or standing. both options i have tried but wont work/change anything

But please, it is not about the key when it works in singleplayer. I do the same on the server and it does not work. I tried it with the key and i tried it with the other options (standing and crouching) but somehow it is not working so i was hoping someone could give me a hint on how to solve that.

Maybe some extra info: i am using g-portal to host. in the console there is no message about veinmining (like it being initialised) so maybe it has to be saved in a different spot than the /config folder path. (I did not mess with the location, only the variable in that one file trying to solve it)

Go to Settings --> Controls. Look for 'Vein Mining' and rebind that key do something easier to use, for example I binded mine to Q.
In order to use vein miner, you need to hold that key. Also, your pickaxe needs to be enchanted with the Vein Miner enchantment.

Not that I know of. You could try searching for separate mods. The game also gives you guide books when you first start out. Some of them you get right away, added to your inventory (for example the quest book tutorial or the biomepedia for Oh the Biomes You'll Go), but others you'll have to craft yourself (like the Simple Storage Network guidebook)

By changing the 'seasonal_crops' in the Serene Seasons - Fertility config, my crops will now grow in all seasons. However, does this also disable weeds growing? Because I haven't been able to find anything relating to weeds.

If you can not launch your server/game after using these flags, then remove the word java from the start. Also, make sure you are using Java 18 on 1.18.2 / 1.19.2 and Java 11 on 1.16.5. These should be downloaded from Adoptium's website.

My friend just started up a better minecraft server and we all have downloaded the client from curseforge. No modifications have been made to the server or the client and I am the only one that is getting this error.
