Hello! I'm new to better minecraft and am used to using Optifine, so Rubidium/Oculus are new to me, though I'm willing to give them a shot. So far it looks great! However, I have a few resource packs I'm very fond of that require optifine (Fresh Animations, Better Chickens, Better Dogs, etc).
I found this:

Which supposedly allows you to use 'Optifine required' resource packs without optifine, but my problem is there still appears to be a mod within Better Minecraft, not a resource pack, that is changing the look of the default animals in the game so that I cannot override their appearance with a new skin. Thus I cannot get my favorite resource packs to work correctly. Would anyone happen to know off the top of their head which mod it is in the Forge version of Better Minecraft that modifies the vanilla mobs? I might consider removing it if it's not that important.

you can "safely" install Optifine on any modpack here but it requires removing several mods & it might break the rendering of things from other mods
