the setup for it is a little complicated, I haven't gotten around to writing the docs for it
I'll see about making the analytics web server public but it still requires setting up grafana, influxdb, etc

are you using a customizable player model mod?
if you’re using a customizable player models mod it’s likely the cause

Hello, Immersive Lanterns is crashing the game, I put a lantern into the accessory slot and now the game crashes back to the launcher anytime I try to go into third person or open my inventory. Still new to modding, only just switched to fabric since I wanted to start using shaders so i'm not sure if i just installed something wrong. I did install the three listed dependencies for Immersive Lanterns and the dependencies for those as well. This is the crash popup but i can send the actual crash report if thats better
distraction free recipes + txnilib in a pack with no other mods besides basic sodium mods & addons crashes on creating a world (neoforge - 1.21.1)

this is an issue with the bundled version of Forgified Fabric API being out of date, i will push a fix soon but in the meantime you can add FFAPI standalone

Is there a way to add items to Sodium Dynamic Lights to make them give off light when dropped/worn/held? I thought there used to be a way. In Forge 1.20.1.

There used to be some extra json's where you could list items you wanted to give light properties to but my old ones are no longer working so I thought maybe I just needed to know what to rename them to in order for them to work.

Ahh. Am I understanding correctly that adding items to a datapack will make them shed light? That's awesome. I don't see a datapack in the .jar but I do see the resource pack json's. Is this what you meant?
The files I was using were in .minecraft/config in the old version I was using. I'm suspecting that has changed in the new versions. From Toni's reply I'm gathering that they are controlled by a datapack or possibly a resource pack.

I have run into a problem with using the resourcepack. It seems that it does not load when the world starts. I have to use F3+T before Dynlights even begins working.
It continues to work If I switch worlds but if I restart Minecraft I have to reload the resourcepack all over again even though the pack continues to remain in the selected pack list.

My apologies. I'm on forge, Minecraft 1.20.1.
I've tried auto-loading the resourcepack with a pack loading mod as well and had no luck.
To be clear, blocks and items that have an innate luminescence such as torches or twilightforest:firefly shed light when held/worn just fine. It's just items that the resource pack adds luminescence to that won't work until the textures are reloaded.
redirected is a fork of redirector and cant be used at the same time
i personally have done no testing but lps packs have been using redirected over redirector now so id recommend that

I need help or advice with a new issue that started showing up ever since it asked me to update sodium/embeddium extras on my 1.21.4 fabric profile on curseforge.
Basically every time id launch the profile with the updated version of sodium extras on 1.21.4, it wouldnt let me open video settings at all saying "saving game" and closing my minecraft.
I tried everything possible to see if there was a mod incompatibility between the other mods i was running and after around 2 hours of experimenting i came to the conclusion, that sodium extras completely refuses to work even if only launched with sodium. I made sure to check for everything and it wasnt corrupt files because i made 3-4 completely new profiles, even went out my way to install modrinth app to try launching it from there but still to no avail.
I also asked a friend of mine to try launching 1.21.4 with sodium/embeddium extras fabric, and he had the exact same issue as me

don't know if it's a mod interfering or anything like that but immersive armor doesn't display durability of my diamond armor which is only using vanilla enchants
I don't believe I have any mods that modify the diamond armor either
at first I thought it was maybe the chainmail boots, as they've got a special effect called "goblin tuned", from the goblin traders mod, but taking the boots off didn't change anything
I am curious if anyone knows the solution or has also dealt with this, but. I am using rethinking voxels shaders, and the immersive lantern doesnt seem to work? I have dynamic handheld lighting turned on,
unfortunately, rethinking voxels and some path tracing shaders like it use a different way of handling lighting -- I set the uniforms for there to be a fake lantern in the player's offhand, but it's up to the shader to make use of that, and this one doesn't
you may be able to turn off the lighting stuff in rethinking voxels and use the native dynlights from SDL but not sure on that
hey, when using "Sodium/Embeddium dynamic lights" mod, the wearable lantern doesn't emit any light, is there a fix for this or is it just incompatible for now?

From my quick research it seems to be the case. I wanted some guidance or recommendation on how that compared to Distant Horizons. I've been using Bobby Reforged on my 1.20.1 pack on Forge and it works really well. Now I'm playing around with NeoForged in 1.21, and I'm looking for options similar to it. Since this is not maintained idk if there is any alternative.
Hi im hoping theres a fix for this? Im using the immersive lanterns mod to have a lantern in the accessory slot, but whenever its supposed to be visible it crashes the game lol. It happens when its equipped and I try to enter third person or open my inventory since thats when the model is visible. If I hide the accessory it still emits light and doesnt crash the game, but obviously the lantern isnt visible. Im on 1.21.4 if that helps, and heres the crash log:

since it was just released, i assumed it would be a dumb bug like a missing symbol in stupid part of code
it was local name remapping on the mixins failing outside of dev on fabric
since the game in the dev environment runs on mojmapped code
idk why those aren’t refmapped lol

Hello sorry to bother, trying out the immersive damage indicator mod and I ran into an issue. Depending on the size of the mob or if the mob is standing still while being hit, the number indicators go inside of the npc which makes it impossible to see.
However, if the npc is moving in anyway while being hit (because of knockback or anything), the numbers display as intended.
This was tested on a fresh instance with a trapped zombie and the fallen chaos knight from born in chaos (because it doesn't move when hit).
Just thought I would bring this to your attention, thank you very much for creating such a cool mod 🙂

Hi super random and cant confirm is this is an issue with xenon or not but everyone using the better mc modpack runs into this weird issue. our fps is like 20-40 less, unless we change fullscreen mode to fullscreen, (which automatically enables fullscreen even without the fullscreen box being selected after hitting apply), then changing it back to windowed mode and hitting apply. After this... our fps increases drastically... idk what would be causing this. I thought it was a me only issue with like my graphics settings or drivers on my PC, however this is the case for every player on my server. Any advice would be appreciated.. Thanks!
I can also provide videos of me doing this. It has to be done every time the client boots up or we lose fps.

Hey I wanted to report a problem I ran into with "Krypton Reforged" where my friend ran into the error "io.netty.handler.codec.CorruptedFrameException: length wider than 21-bit" when trying to join my world. The problem was solved after removing "Krypton Reforged"

theres an alternative called grind enchantments but its not as good
it is better because it doesnt crash your game
I'm using the mining speed tooltips mod, which also adds a visual for the quark visual tooltips. If there's an extra stat beyond the usual attack damage and attack speed ones, quark adds a little [+] to let the player know, but the mining speed one covers it so they look really weird. Is there a way to fix this visual weirdness?
So I've been using Spice of Life: Valheim Edition and I think it's great, but would it be possible to add a compatability with Vampirism? There's a mod called Vampire's Delight which adds a bunch of foods for nourishing vampires. I think it'd be cool if this mod worked with Vampirism, so vampires wouldn't be able to improve their health with human food but only vampire specific food(like hearts and raw meat from base mod, but all the vampire stuff from the Vampire's Delight mod)
Hi there, just wondering if this xenon mod is still being updated/maintained? I'm pretty sure I've found a pretty big bug with it. I have screenshots examples, and it happens to everyone using the pack. Huge loss in fps unless you activate fullscreen then deactivate it. Gains of about 20-40 fps. I hate having to do it everytime I load in but not a huge deal. Thanks. ❤️

hello! im having this issue when launching a modpack using txnilib. its hosted on bisect and when i contacted support they told me to contact the server with the dev (though im not convinced its a mod issue still....) has anyone resolved this before?
(the modpack launches fine by itself on curseforge / fabric)
I am running the modpack on 1.20.1, i can provide the rest of the mods in the pack if that may help. the server can run with just fabric so im not sure what the issue is. it crashes the server after around 10-ish seconds of launching

that wasnt the error, that was a previous command that I made a typo in, the one in the screenshot is the command that was ran

you can just jar-in-jar it as a dependency if you need, or embed it in a modpack, there’s really no reason to reupload it like this

@flint jetty Do you know why the Looting II enchant won't move to the book? For some reason this sword I found has Looting II in italic, and Sculk Smite IV not in italic. The Sculk Smite comes off onto the book fine, but not the Looting?
Also I was wondering if your mod has a way to get curses off of weapons, since I think your mod is the only one in BMC4 that can disenchant things at all. Idk why italic enchants don't transfer, or if you can disenchant enchants one by one in order for a higher xp cost or something.

For some reason I get this message when installing Does It Tick on my server on the latest version of ATM10, it works fine on my atm10tts installation but it gives me that error on regular atm10. I downloaded all of the dependencies except Fabric API (as it's neoforge and fabric api only has downloads for fabric) so maybe it's that but then why does it work on atm10tts without fabric api

Hey Toni, I just noticed that for some reason the Immersive Armors have no health bar in the latest v47 of BMC4. Any idea why? I installed Inventory HUD+ so I can see my damage %, since Immersive Armors isn't working. I play on a public server, so all my files are otherwise identical
check the configs of the mods, likely they were disabled.
It isn't disabled. There is no setting
in the files. not the game
I mean it isn't disabled in Prism, and opening the config file is the same settings as in game
I switched from diamond and ruby armor to iron and still no health bars
that's not the config file. you have to actually open it from your files into notepad or another program like VSC
I don't see any other file related to immersive armor hud in configs besides this

Because modpacks can't support all mods. The fact that it works on other versions doesn't mean anything. Just one single thing changed can make it incompatible.
Is there any way to easily change which slot the lantern takes up in immersive lanterns? I have relics and it adds actual belts, so for this pack it would make more since to wear it as a charm then a belt. And I don't want to do this in game, I want people who play the pack to have it set up out the gate.
you will need to make a datapack for that purpose

I have a suggestion for immersive lanterns and it is to make it work with curiosity
a suggestion to Txni or whoever made the Immersive Tips mod PLEASE add Immersive Message API as a required dependency (https://modrinth.com/mod/immersive-messages-api) I have been expierencing constant CTD with Immersive Tips. When I then installed Immersive Message API the crashes dissapears, if you add Immersive Message API as a required dependency it would have save me weeks of troubleshooting.
Hey I was wondering if "Quests Freeze Fix" might be updated to 1.21.1 for Neoforge. I have a modpack I'm building and I believe FTB Quests is causing some freezing issues that cause the game to not start. I've narrowed it down to FTB Quests because as soon as I remove the mod everything starts back up fine. Thanks!

This means you have two mods trying to do the same thing
Remove one, and keep the other
I think you have Lamb Dynamic Light and Sodium Dynamic Light - both are equivalent (I think Lamb is better)

Hi there. Been having issues with this pack in regards to fps disappearing as soon as you exit fullscreen mode or mess with the resolution at all. I have to force the game to launch in fullscreen mode, and if I ever exit fullscreen or make it windowed etc, my fps drops about 50+. This isn't just my PC this is all my friends PC's so it has something to do with the mods in this pack. I have tested in in the base modpack and it does the same thing, its really frustrating having to tip toe around this issue so if anyone has help or advice I'd appreciate it.

i also tried it like this which matches the internals of the mod when looking through it's code, but it still does not work

helloo so it seems like the Borehead Bearings and Rock Cutting wheels from Create Aeronautics fail to break blocks when they're a contraption attached to a physics object when Does It Tick? is installed, not sure which mod its an issue with but the issue can be reproduced with just Create Aeronautics & Does It Tick? (and dependencies)
