You'll have to reset your dimensions cause that portal wasn't supposed to be broken. That's fixed in the recent version but Prominence is still at the old one 😁

the IDs in Minecraft are not numerical, they've been just text for a loooong time

You have to go to the Promenade first. There's a tower that leads to the Ramparts there
It's either next to the entrance portal, or straight ahead on the path, depending on which version of the mod you have

hi i was trying to get to the promenade and i broke the doorway for it to take it home cuz i thought i could place it in my portal room, but now when i place it in the overworld it's locked and i cant place it in the prison realm
You have to reset the prison dimension. These weren't supposed to be broken, and that bug is already fixed in the latest releases of the mod

-> enter Prisoners' Quarters with the portal from the Overworld
-> find Promenade of The Condemned
-> get the Vine Rune in the Promenade
-> now, depending on the mod version, follow the path in Promenade OR go back to spawn if there is no path, and find an out-of-place looking tower
-> go through the Ramparts portal
-> travel to the very end of that, and you're at the Bridge
for the version its in prominence II in v2.6.6

Lightning bolt - targets a single enemy, you need to hold right click to use it. The longer you hold, the more damage it deals, and the more it spreads to nearby enemies, but using it for too long damages you too.

Electric whip - short right-click usage, deals AoE electrified effect and damage. Less damage but longer status effect and less risky to use

That would defeat the entire purpose of their schtick
Just let him charge, move out of the way, and attack the back
They're probably somewhere at the end of my list of most annoying enemies in Dead Cells tbh 🤔 Never had too many issues with them
maybe if you can stun them by blocking their charge using your own shield? That always worked in the game and it lowers their guard

i would like to build a portal room with all the dimensions
Any doorway placed in the overworld can be changed with a Dimensional rune!
Place down the doorway and right-click with the rune on the center block of the doorway
(please tell me there isn't a bug that prevents this somehow

So... this bug is happening with Mine Cells generation, the screenshot is just a reproduction in creative mode with Mine Cells blocks when adjacent to each other, when a generation is found the gate seems also to be locked, any idea what might be causing this? this is in a custom modpack

It's not necessarily Mine Cells that's mismatched
Might be any other mod, and the Mine Cells blocks just so happen to be the ones that got "offset"

Yep, that's an intended mechanic! There's nothing interesting down there anyway, so it's just to save you from falling to your death. But if you really wish, you can disable that in the config in the latest release

Regarding my question here, I realized I was experiencing a bug when I asked this, because when I entered Ramparts I spawned in the middle of the mountains, and I assume I was supposed to spawn in the castle. So it was kinda tricky to get to the castle without being able to go to the bottom, but eventually after jumping and being teleported a few times I was taken to the castle

i went to the bottom using the elevator cause there were 2
and there are 2 chests but they both tell me "Inventory not generated"
The Vine Rune isn't in a chest 🤫
Also any quests might be outdated, you don't need to go down an elevator anymore, there will be a hole in the ground with a suspiciously clickable large stone 
And the path with the signs should lead riiiiiight directly to it

you just have to wait for the inventory to generate
so feel free to click on the chest
since you used the elevator, you are probably just running minecells out of date
which is understandable if playing a modpack
There still are a few elevators in promenade, they're just not important ones
Since they have the signs pointing to the Vine Rune, they're probably up to date

Yep, you'll still get teleported when you fall, even in the latest version. But - the bug that got fixed is getting teleported to the mountains in the first place 😅
So if you exited Ramparts and entered again, you should be in the correct place

Hi, just wondering if anyone has already tried it as that's one of the first things that came to mind when starting Mine Cells - any music mod that could be used to make its dimensions use the corresponding Dead Cells music?

the assets are all original, nothing is really being infringed
mim1q is not ripping the models and textures off dead cells or anything, he's making them from scratch

If I ever find any solution to this I'll definitely let everyone know! I'd have to clear potential solutions with the Dead Cells team tho, which I doubt will happen too quickly 😅
Not going to do anything until then because I respect their copyright and want to make sure they'd be absolutely on board. Maaaaybe there will be some placeholder, non-dead-cells music in the future but I don't guarantee anything

Hello, I'm playing Prominence 2 RPG and I'm having a bug in the Ramparts. Every time I go through the portal I get tpd to the mountains, I can't move or break anything, and if I try tping back, I die from fall damage
Do you have the latest version of Mine Cells? If so, go into the common-config.json5 file and disable the "Ramparts Fall Protection", somewhere at the bottom. If it's on a server, then you have to change that on the server.
If you teleport out of the dimension and go back in, it should work normally and won't teleport you if you fall down anymore
I'll deal with this bug for the next big release, but for now this is a workaround for when it does happen ^ 😅

even a public modpack (i think) would still get you sued from the dead cells team

Hey, did it ever happen to you, you go dare, install a mod, but when you enter the world... The mod doesn't work or the launcher simply crashes before even opening the game?
what launcher do you use? if the launcher itself is crashing then that wouldn't be related to the mods
If I put Eureka, I can't use opitifabric
If I use Eureka, Valkyrie skyes and create, clockwork doesn't work
If I only put Distante Horizons, the render distance doesn't work like in the video's
No matter what version of these mods I use, the launcher will give code error:1 and not load, unless I remove the specific mod
why would you use optifabric? the latest version of valk skyes works with sodium
sodium and iris are waaay superior than optifine

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

I am running a server with minecells and I have run into an issue, one of my players entered a rampart portal, that teleported him on top of a mountain you cannot descend as it just telports you back up, I take it this is not intended?
Perhaps the portal teleports to a wrong location?
Which version of Mine Cells do you have?

You can go into the config and set disableRampartsFallProtection to true
Or update Mine Cells to 1.8.0, the issue is completely gone there lol

But depending on the circumstances you might not be able to update (Mine Cells 1.8.0 requires Fabric Loader 0.15.x, and if you're on 0.14.x and unable to update that, Mine Cells 1.8.0 will not launch)

Hi all. Is there a limit on the number of times that you can craft boss respawn items? I've done Conjunctivitis a few times, but now I can't craft any more even though I have the required items.
Also, do the Boss Cells have any use? I know what they do in the original Dead Cells game, but haven't found anywhere/way to use them in Mine Cells.

Or install Sparse Structures but be aware that it:
- Decreases the amount of ALL structures so you'd need to configure all structures except the Mine Cells portal one
- Only works properly with the most recent versions of Mine Cells, otherwise it needs a custom piece of config to function properly too

huh, guess i didnt recieve the memo
ok so the mod minecells if i enter ramparts it glitches and puts me in a random spot in ramparts with no ability to move break blocks or anything and if i leave and rejoin i start sufficating and if i were to cheat and go into creative mode it works fine but go back into survival it doesnt work at all so i tried to clear my data with the command from mine cell and now it wont save or let me create portals to worlds i go to after the clear
and even after i reset it its still has the same problem at rampart
im going to go to bed and try fixing this tomarow ill be up around 5 am mountain time

Are you sure you have Mine Cells 1.8.2? Maybe try deleting the config file, and restart the game to generate it again

You need to make sure the coordinates of the portal you want to change are the same as the coordinates of the Prisoners Quarters portal you used to enter the dimensions

Speaking of updates: Mine Cells is on a little break from major updates, only bugfixes and minor stuff for now. But the next big update is going to be pretty huge in terms of playability lmao
I used it and it felt SO good
Also I don't mind, little things have to be fixed

- Sewers (finally)
- Better progression with the whole "different portals lead to different prisons" mechanics (the current one is too confusing for me to explain)
- Probably removing the Prison dimension! (In favor of some overworld structures to make the whole thing more immersive!)
- and a little technical thing for a very small (but potentially interesting) visual addon i I plan to create 👀
I would hate for the prisoners quarters to get removed, it has a charming style and I love exploring it (and I may or may not have memorized it's generation patterns)

My idea was that each Overworld portal would let you progress to one boss
So they'd be like:
OW -> Promenade -> ramparts -> concierge
OW (vine rune) -> Sewers -> ancient sewers -> conju
OW (tp rune) -> Arboretum -> morass -> mama ticc
Now that you explained the progression of each it sounds good
I still want the prisoners quarters tho
Still not sure how to handle alternative biomes (ossuary instead of ramparts, etc)

do you have any tips for me on how i can build my own dungons? I'm currently designing a dungeon on our server, I'm mainly just using kubejs at the moment, but now that I've tried your mod I have to say that this spawn mechanic is really cool.
is it easy to copy this mechanic from your code and use it? or have you ever thought about making a libary with which you can easily design your own dungeons? Maybe even with architectury, so that you can use it for fabric + forge?
I unfortunately have 0 experience with developing client side mods, the only mod I have made so far is a mod that modifies some chunks on load, for our server.
I have thought about making a library for it briefly, yeah! But it'd be a pretty bad library, the code is super scuffed

In deadcells the panacea is made of monster cells and gives super healing, so, hear me out, what if there was an item like the panacea but made with boss STEM cells?

You unlock the recipe by killing a Leaping Zombie, then use the Cell Crafter to craft the sword
You'll need the Blood Bottles, and to get them, right-click on bloody spikes in the Promenade with an empty bottle
install EMI and you'll be able to see all that by looking up the Blood Sword and viewing the recipe

There's currently a little bug that shows that you have enough items, even though you don't😅 it only checks if you have at least 1 of that item
So please double-check if you have enough, and then you should be able to craft it!
My guess is they didn't have enough when they asked first, and only get the rest between that and my response

Bc Conjunctivius is just running and throwing arrows, and Concierge is just tanking

Im playing with Prominence RPG, and they really dont do much damage
And also I killed these bosses when I was early game
Well I mean these bosses weren't really mean as a late game thing, more mid game I think, and they're tuned to be vanilla-friendly by default.
I might add a way to make them adapt to you at some point buuuut I had that before and it only caused issues 🥴 So now the damage can be hard-configured through the datapack, as I said, and doesn't really respond to any of the player's attributes, unless there's some other hacky mod at play

Actual loot is really basic, materials only, and maybe at some point makes the dungeons loot something to even dont check

Well don't know if you know, but Mine Cells is based on Dead Cells, another game. There is definitely going to be more abilities / weapons etc. in the future, but I'm not going to add any ones that aren't available in Dead Cells

I like to think of mixins as you literally saying "hey, please copy this code that I write here into Mojang's code", and you specify exactly how and where you want the code pasted
I do think listeners / events are a bit of a cleaner system, but mixins are soooo much more versatile and powerful
And you can implement your own events with the use of mixins 👀
