About Compression!

Compression is a high level 1.19.2 expert pack focused on automation to an extreme degree. Taking inspiration from Factorio mods [Pyanodons/SpaceEx], Divine Journey 2, GTNH, & FTB Interactions, Compression aims to blend together aspects of said sources along with a ton of unique systems to aid your quest to [SIGNAL LOST...]

Progression

The gameplay loop of Compression centers around science. You make it, you test it, you analyze it. Knowledge from experiments feeding into schematic and constructs leading you along unlocking the nature of reality and bending it to your will.

Within the quest book you will find 16 distinct tiers of progression leading you to the End. Each tier you will face increasingly difficult to construct and test sciences, each tick up the progression ladder further testing your will to continue.

Quest Book

The quest book itself is divided into 3 main segments.
The main quest line [Path to Null]
Production path improvements [Recipe Scaling]
Tutorial/Trophy quests [Automation and YOU!]

Path to Null contains the main 16 quest tiers along with a tutorial tier 0 tab to get you situated with the gameplay loop and what will be expected going forward.

As a note, each tier will still include all previous tiers in terms of progression requirements, you will never be able to forget about some aspect of your factory, it will all be used.

Tier 1 - Botania x Immersive Engineering x Alchemistry x Ae2
This tier will focus on getting your production lines up and running. Ae2 is considerably cheaper in Compression to account for the sudden spikes in item complexity early on.
Tier 2 - Pneumatic Craft & Chemistry Hell
This tier will focus mostly on pneumatic craft and more alchemistry. You will build incredible pipe spaghetti to produce many dozens of useful polymers and other hydrocarbon based compounds
**Tier 3 - Primitive Computers **
The quest itself named after the golden computer taken on the early Apollo missions, you will build primitive computers to guide your researching capacities. Redstone puzzles will be included
Tier 4 - Genetic Engineering & Pharmacogenomics
Expert modpacks tend to rely on simulating mobs or granting mob drops somewhat trivially. Taking inspiration from Factorio's Pyanodons, Compression aims to introduce a system where you can produce gene altering drugs to modify creatures before you slaughter them allowing their drops to scale with the demands of your factory
Tier 5 - Nuclear Fission
Nuclear material is both powerful and important. The reactors themselves output incredible amounts of power, the process of transmuting elements into new forms opens up massive amounts of applications in nuclear medicine, material shielding, and radiation based science. Wonder if letting this reactor melt down might yield new materials too....
Tier 6 - Modern Computers
Transistors are the single most made object in the world, to the tune of 5 billion per second. In this chapter you will build the Ultraviolet Lithography Machine to cook up some wonderful 6nm transistors
Tier 7 - Fusion
Much like its cousin fission, fusion will again increase both your power availability and unique material sourcing. In addition to that it may be vital in the process of producing a small star...

Recipe Scaling
Tired of processing lines becoming obsolete? In Compression we never let your hard work go to waste as all lines you make can keep up with factory demands by simply upgrading them as you go!

The Ore Line is also subjected to an extreme degree of recipe scaling. Each tier you move up in progression the total drops per ore will roughly quadruple baring few exceptions. Each tier up boosts previous tiers and introduces a new byproduct.
As an example:

Tier 0 : 1 Iron per
Tier 1 : 3 Iron + 1 Sulfur per

This will loop up until tier 15

Automation & You features a tutorial segment for more complex automation. Each tab will feature a hint, and a direct video link explaining the mechanics and how to set up the automation [Pending]

Custom Ponder

To further aid the player in learning mechanics, JJFire is creating custom create-ponders for the machines in other mods to act as an in-game tutorial.

Proficiency is a tab within Automation and You that acts as a trophy tab.
Think of it as a... "proof of automation check"

Quest rewards

Each tier's quest are scattered across the book and are denoted by their berry reward. Upon doing all quests of that tier, you can claim yourself a golden berry to proudly display in your base

So development is still on going and in an effort to not be dead silent between announcements I will be posting a master progress board for Compression's Tier 1

We will also be experimenting with having beta releases & "full" releases

Betas will be more segmented releases where tiers are not yet complete and are subject to updates that may break existing setups between beta updates

Full releases will be announced when we feel that a tier is essentially finished. This doesn't necessarily mean that updates for said tier will stop but are very unlikely to be dramatic changes and will be balance/bug fix updates.

This update introduces new ways of refining ores or create alloys by melting them using a new raw ore processing system which can duplicate ores up to x2.33.

This update also removed the Create Ratatouille mod, meaning that ALL blocks and items from that mod will be gone from your world upon updating to the new version.

I know just a week ago I said there would be no ETA for All of Create to have 6.0 since it would mean either I would have to remove mods or move to 1.21, but im just curious on how many people would actually prefer it if I removed the abandoned / still not updated mods and release an Create 6.0 update for All of Create, or even just make a whole new Curseforge page for it?

Hi, not a ping for an update announcement but a poll. The 1.19 and 1.20 versions of the pack both had a bunch of non Create related mods in the pack such as Alex's Mobs, Cataclysm.. etc. How would you feel if the 1.21 version of All of Create only had a few Qol / Vanilla+ mods? This would mean mods such as Cataclysm & Oh The Biomes We've Gone will be removed.

Keep in mind I could probably make a seperate version of the pack with mods like Cataclysm if more people prefer the pack to focus more on Create, just wanted to know what yall would want CatDance5

All of Create has now been updated to 1.21.1! This version has over 50 Create Addons with brand new questlines to help guide you through them, the modpack has also received an overhaul so that it feels much more Vanilla+ and performance has improved by almost double compared to the 1.20.1 version; there will be a seperate version released later down the line with mods like Catalysm for those who did enjoy playing with the extra mods.

An official server will also be releasing for the pack <t:1770994800:R> which will be hosted by Duck Pond. The 1.20.1 official server was able to handle 40+ concurrent players at launch and has been able to maintain 20 TPS a majority of the time throughout the 1 year it has been running for, so no need to be put away due to lag from players and machines.

Aquamirae - Update 6.2.0

  • Complete overhaul of the Ice Maze generation (backported from the upcoming Aquamirae 7)! Instead of dense clusters of wall-like structures that didn't truly form a proper maze, the generation now uses a multi-layered noise-based system. This makes exploration more immersive and visually diverse, while also significantly improving performance by reducing the number of generated structures several times over.
  • Weather inside the Ice Maze has been adjusted – it now properly snows within the biome. This is a temporary implementation and not as robust as the system planned for Aquamirae 7, so in large modpacks with custom world generation it may not always apply correctly.
  • Added a subtle ambient background loop to reinforce the atmosphere of the frozen wasteland.
  • Removed procedurally generated loot armor from the Creative tab. It can still be obtained as drops, but will no longer clutter your JEI listings.

Please keep in mind that you will likely encounter bugs during your playthrough. If you do encounter any bugs with Create Aeronautics or Sable please report it to them directly and if you encounter any issues with the modpack please report them in #all-of-create.

Worlds can technically be brought over from All of Create 1.21 with no data loss as there were no mods removed, but I wouldn't recommend it until it was more stable.

Removed livingrock shears
Correctly tag Living Frame as a tier 0 item instead of tier 1
Prevent spawning of Forgotten from Quark (and spider jockeys too, hopefully)
Fixed the spawn crater swarming the player with tons of plant and seed item drops on world creation
Iron chests can be quark sorted again
Changed recipe for Lattice from Decorative Drops to prevent conflict with recipe for Timber Frame from Supplementaries
Fixed recipes for Immersive Engineering to make iron rod crafting not awful
Cleaned up many un-used crushing wheel recipes
