yeah you could do a contraption with deployers setting down a massive platform in the sky, then tp above it to look and see if a farseer spawns, if it doesnt, tp away, tp back for more spawns, etc, but honestly afking is much easier

Hi guys. Well, I was steampunking the Otherworld modpack to play with the bros. But, having a crash, and don't know how can ajust. Someone can help-me?
I did a set up l ike this, I'm at y 262, the gaps on each floor are 2.5 blocks tall, bigger tower obviously faster results, I afk'd just ab it farther back then I am now inside a safe box, used planar sight to easily see farseers from other tall mobs that spawn

3 levels to transmute as well, obviously bigger platforms = faster results as well, i just threw it together fast then alt tabbed and came back to farseers, took awhile tho, so you might want to build bigger

made a fun little modular/tile system 4x7x1 in this pack for sending/receiving items regardless of distance wireless, or allowing people to request items from your create storage system to be sent to them. This pack has some fun synergies in it
uh, i played some aram mayhems in league while waiting, so maybe like an hour or so
there is a perfectly good config option that basically takes all the heat of the transmutation table away (you're stuck to transmuting from the default list, no x64 Blocks of Netherite for you)

I can wait an hour, any suggestions on how to build a large platform?

yeah, its more just a mailing system, so you can send to your create frogport whatever items u want, it falls in the water goes through portal lands in their funnel and turns on the light letting them know they have mail. If you want to give them access to your system u just give them a requester in their base and they can mail themselves items from your inventory
was fun to make cuz lossless, also i had a coral farm 10k blocks away from my base and wanted the coral to be packaged and sent to my base, the reason i originally made it
Haven’t played around with iron’s portal, can you connect multiple portal into 1 portal?
no, they are one to one, the way it works in screenshot is because items keep their cardinal velocity upon teleporting in an iron spells and spellbooks portal, so the one in their base and the one in main both need to face the same cardinal direction for it to be lossless. the water pushes it, giving it a cardinal north velocity, it goes through and lands in their funnel. The same is true if they want to send me items, it goes in, cardinal north velocity, falls through, lands in my funnel
so for each player to send and receive mail from another player, you just need 1 portal

I'm sure you can, you just need to have it move off the warp plate once through to get picked up by the receiving inventory. Frogports pull from inventories tho

yeah, mithril is pricey
if you are using warp plate you dont have to worry about velocity so you might be able to make it smaller depending how how you set it up. The drawback though is that portal item throughput is very very fast, there is a delay from warpplates so you couldnt send 10k packages cuz they'd shove each other off, maybe with items you could send 10k. I'd rather spend the mithril to avoid the warp delay from plates tho

In the case of my coral farm, I wanted to make liquid fertilizer, but I didn't want a train to go 10k blocks to pick up the coral and drop it off at my factory and I definitely couldn't make a tom's storage at my coral farm to transfer the coral to my home tom's storage and keep the system automated. The coral would come through the portal to my main base in a package every couple minutes, get picked up by the frog port and put into my system, which would auto transfer it to turning it into tree fertilizer, which would auto get turned into liquid fertilizer. That way I can have unlimited liquid fertilizer without doing anything. It was the easiest way to keep it automated while moving items 10k blocks away to my home storage
For players its more if they just want to send something as a joke or gift they can just send you mail. Or if they just want to request specific items you've whitelisted from your storage you can set it up that way

Nah beacon have 2 use in tom
1 is wireless access with terminal, the other’s essentially a portal for the wire
But uhh it function on network

So like you can have
3 system, 2 input and 1 output (basically the reading direction and not item transferring)
So call the output point A then the 2 input is point B and C, with all 3 being connected to the same network you can slab a terminal on point A and pull things from point B and C out

a complete modpack have both, u cant add 400-500 mods and expect players to randonly explore all these mods from nowhere
sometimes its even hard to find from which mod something is, and searching on internet is impossible for new mods or unknowed ones
totally open to adding more tutorial quests, it's not something i've been prioritizing over other content/performance improvements
but if someone wanted to make some to contribute that would help a lot!

Most of the locked enchantments have little to no impact on things, especially with the mob leveling system

love this modpack have had to use 0 wikis to do anything and the guides have served to explain everything. worldgen is also just stunning, my only big qualm being with the wayfinder's compass sometimes being unclear, and the cataclysm quest eyes breaking
i made a fork of the otherworld origins mod with some new additions and rebalances and we've just been running it raw with that and some extra player interaction mods
druid wildshape and aasimars
i will say casters still heavily outclass martials even with adjustments, only shadow monk and projectile damage classes have some tech to keep up across most of the game

Magic has always been a flawed system. We just don't see it much because various mods (cough, Apotheosis) usually just outclass them immediately.
And then the instant you allow magic to get up to power terms with the other classes, it's just over

I didn't use fan cause that's a mess to build with no schem cannon
I made a contraption that run back and forth to sweep the entities with height of up to 2 blocks tall
also made the bad decision to build in cold biome cause there's like 3 additonal spawns that's taking up the space
a lot more class/subclass balancing is coming in v6, including per-class spell lists that will tone down a lot of mages and some more subclass scaling feature
ultimately there is also a plan for melee/ranged skills through iron's (maybe as new schools?), that will probably be v8 or v9

in this modpacks theres lots of spawners under the earth, its kinda annoying but theres a lot of loot

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

What exactly are the netherite golem's spawn condition to be spawned via spawner?
My mobfarm looked like this (now reduced to Y3) and neither both Y's were spawning netherite golem... :/
- light levels
- some speciic spawn condition
(like dimension or for example with passive animals grass/dirt)
- height
those 3 can be of issues
our old mobfarm worked ...
So light levels isnt the issue...

There is an issue with Java 17.0.8 and newer where you may experience "A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment", which can cause the Java runtime to crash under a variety of circumstances. To resolve this:

- Go here and hover over the Download buttons until you see one with the option to install a .dmg file. If you have an M-series Mac, then make sure to install the ARM64 version of this file.

You could change the settings in the dragon seeker mod
no cause its technically a feature, not a structure
Make the basic dragon seeker staff and change the settings of it to be the same settings as the creative one
just like you can't locate dungeons
The noise the staff makes is really quiet but you can still hear it if you got other sounds lower
its normal to get one shot with 16 hearts and 16 armor by a normal enemy?

Yeah, mobs with melee weaponry or high base damage just deal insane amounts of damage, so much that it outclasses bosses in some cases
Many people are complaining that the regular mobs are giving more grief than the actual bosses of the campaign (although Champions is probably partly to blame here)
Although Piglin Brutes, Wither Skeletons and Ravagers have always been mobs that are not to be taken lightly
