Transferring Your World
If you're playing Singleplayer and want to transfer your world to your server, simply go to your modpack files and navigate to the saves folder. Inside of this folder, you will see your world saves. Rename your desired world save to world. You can then transfer this folder to your server files. If your world was hosted via world sharing, this process has to be done by the person who would click "Share World".
Fixing Lag
To resolve lag issues, simply run the !tps command in #bots and follow the directions provided.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.
To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab, this is important as OSX WILL crash the game on Mac.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

hey sorry newbie question here, ive been searching for the support channel for otherworld but this seems to be the only one, sorry if the quesiton is in the wrong channel, but the only way to play with someone else is to either get a server through bisect hosting or use lunapixel, i have had issues with luna as when i tell my friends to just add the server ip into the server address there seems to be some type of issue where they just time out. i hope this is just user error

But @ epic level reforge (apotheosis adventure module) items will be able to get "can utilize all enchants" modifier

the problem im having is that when I go against bosses, my armor for some reason just breaks, and I can even find life mending or regular mending, cause then if my mage armor breaks than I have to keep crafting it and the arcane essence is so hard to get for me.

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.
To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab, this is important as OSX WILL crash the game on Mac.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

Cause spawner make your life so much easier
Nether star make spawner always spawn mobs if the chunk is loaded, without it the spawners need players nearby to be active
Basically ask if they can somehow change the item required for that modification to be something unobtainable or only obtainable in creative

I found a bug, the "double the duration of potion effects" from the Transmutation subclass of wizard affects more than just potions, it also extends the stun effect from crabs and the Eldritch Reversal spell, causing both effects (-500% speed and reversal) to last forever

Look like that is correct after testing on poison, mining fatigue, and weakness. However still an issue with Stun and Reversal lasting forever. with both being broken in their own ways

if you want one I would do the same, i made a regular mob spawning type tower, but high up in the sky, added encased fans to blow the mobs out of the platform, but made the exit height for each platform... i think 3 blocks tall but maybe 2.5 blocks tall. The idea is farseers are like 3 blocks tall? i cant remember, but I made it so that all mobs that were below farseer height got pushed out, fell, despawned ( > 128 blocks away from player ), so that more mobs could spawn. I then went afk, came back and would kill the farseers that did spawn, until I could train a table to dupe farseer arms

in this pack they have an insanely low spawn weight, set in the config

their spawn weight is low, then you have to roll successfully an additional like 6 times (i cant remember) for a mob to spawn as a farseer
since hte desync at the world border is so bad in this pack, I'd recommend building the spawner at home then schematic cannoning it in at the border so you dont have to build with movement snapping
