Apotheosis boss system is just rubble cause it's just vanilla mobs with enhanced stats, which means you can pretty much cheese all of them by pillaring up 3 blocks, blocking with a shield, or using a good bow in the midgame and beyond
Cause the earlygame you're just going to find items in chests instead of fighting

not really, when Apotheosis is added its integrated into tools, weapons and armour, especially spawners that can be modified and then when modpack developers add in the additional mods with it becomes pretty paramount

Hello, just a small tip for anyone who has difficulty cause the nether gaunlet entered lava, you can craft a potion called lava sight i believe with a bone serpents tooth, mix it with fire resistance and you should be able to see under the lava

Probably because there's other dependencies that are in the modpack. I believe there's addons to make Iron's Spells items and such have temperature effect
But also, you can just spend a feat at lvl 4 to ignore the temperature mechanic alltogether
All the other benefits are kinda meh anyway in my opinion. It's WAY worth it to grab Elemental Adept imho

Drinking can be taken care of by carrying a water bucket. It's essentially Rotten Flesh ButWater™
And health is easy with Iron's Spells. Divine Pearl or whatever is easy to make and you can make holy spells with them, which like.. I'd guess 60% of them heal
But yeah, i'd look around if there's any addons you left unchecked that work with Survival Overhaul and remove them

Didn't end up getting an answer on the summon bear scaling so a friend and I did some testing with different stats and sets on a creative server, this is what we ended up finding out if anyone's interested;
base DPS 9.3
evocation base DPS 14.4
primordial base DPS 10.7
int DPS 15.3
int+evo DPS 24.6
constitution DPS 9.3
strength DPS 9.0
so it looks like his damage scales on Int, spell power, and evocation spell power. Nothing affected his health.

in fact, you can boil scrolls for ink of the rarity the spell corresponds to with a 50% chance

With a pump that you make from a cog and a pipe
Which you need to then power with whatever that nets you stress units
It's very convenient to make regular water wheels to place horizontally on the floor to power them with water easily and in a confined space

it's easier to find using the FTB Chunks map as it's blue. Journey map is much more difficult to see the difference.

IIRC, a fully charged arrow is a "critical" arrow, and thus applies all critical damage modifiers

well, the damage calc for a vanilla power 5 bow fully charged "critical" arrow is 25 damage, which benefits from all the other modifiers from apotheosis and class abilities, I can easily see the damage tripling with gems and the such
