Well the first thing to do would be to take the coins and cheap items and make them worth a lot less
Bronze coins would probably be 1 point, silver 100 and gold 10000, and dirt cheap items would probably be like 10-20 points or something (if they're not just completely removed in favor of mod interaction

warlocks start with one

then you need to delve into iron's mod

make a spell book, inscription table, find/buy/make spell scrolls (from eldirtch school they first require researching scrolls trough using eldritch manuscripts)

then you use inscription table and put scrolls into a book you made - so scrolls wouldn't be one time use only
