so for anyone who spent hours looking for the pirate ship, i finally found it (and it did not populate in the deep frozen ocean biome closest to spawn). and trust me i scoured that biome and did not find it. so i asked the question, “well if it’s not in this biome surely it will be in another deep frozen ocean?” the problem is that the nature compass only populates the closest biome. so, i spent twenty minutes on horse traveling the opposite direction in order to have the nature compass locate another deep frozen ocean. sadly for me, it was 10000 blocks from spawn; HOWEVER, i made it and the pillager ship was the first thing i saw. i could have cried 😂 after dying a million times i finally got the shell and trekked back home. now I know i have to spawn the captain next to the ship, so i will have to make the journey back, but could anyone please give me some tips on how to fight the boss? i don’t want to die and it despawn. i’m level six and i have soul ingot armor and a diamond sword. i’m a cleric so i have tons of healing and holy spells. what is the boss like? should i build up on a pillar? any tips would be much appreciated.
