My problem is that while I could tank his attacks, i was dealing less damage than he was regenerating due to having mistakenly taken my smite 5 sword instead of my sharp 5

and I had trouble hitting it due to the numerous screen effects that happens when a buring arena spawns on a fortress

Deep Dark Regrowths sculk hearts can be found in any deep dark, doesn't need to be an ancient city ( I would suggest updating Deep Dark regrowth to fix a bug with the hearts and spawning of some mobs)

Finally finished legacy, here's my thoughts on this modpack:

While I like the premise, I think it was handled badly, first of all, in term of gameplay, it's way too hard early game but when you get good armor and weapons, it basically becomes vanilla but less convenient for everything you want/have to do especially with enhanced ai making pickaxe zombies a massive pain in the ass.

Secondly, I don't think it's the modpack fault, but it's not scary at all, It's mostly due to the fact that most minecraft mods aren't scary at all(especially the scp one imo) and the most scared I got was when I got jumpscared by the cave dweller once or twice. Since this is supposed to be a horror modpack(I think?) It kind of fell flat for me.

Thirdly, the way the aether was implemented was wierd, I don't think it's bad in and of itself, but having massive ghast spawn when most of the ground is blowable was... a decision that was made. Add onto that the fact you have to hunt down the greed mobs makes the experience challenging for sure, which is a fun way to start the final chapter with a bang, but maybe there's too much bang lol.

And finally, I'm adding this due to the fact that I was watching someone play this as I was playing and we both had this issue, but the more you progress in this modpack, the more the game seems to crash while playing, no joke, I was crashing maybe every 10-20 minutes when I was playing chapter 3 and after killing the ender dragon(which made my game crash too btw) I started to crash every 15 min up until I killed Herobrine (Which ALSO crashed my game when I killed him) which made finishing this pack a massive chore and while I know it's probably not an issue in RoC, I'm gonna take a break from Fear Nightfall for a while.

Final thoughts:
A pack that's probably more enjoyable in multiplayer than single player, there's a lot of jank but can still be somewhat enjoyable as a minecraft horror experience. I give it a 5/10

Please follow the guide here for changing the Java version your server uses. This will improve performance dramatically. If you can't find soul sand, you can alternate craft it with etheral spirits to get early netherwart farm.
