Deepslate slab is blast resistant, it takes a few explosion to blow a hole through it, the only slab that I know can't be blown up are waterlogged slab

Just a random in ground design that worked a few versions prior , nothing crazy like 60 ingots per regular mc day so 180 ingots a hour .
assuming flat ground
- Make a 5 * 4 * 3 hole , put 5 beds and 5 slabs (infront of the beds)
- Put down 5 villagers
- Put 2 torches inside on either side
- Cover them up with a layer of dirt
- Make a 3 block tall around the previous hole
- 7 leaves in every direction , making an outside rectangle of leaves
- Making the killing mechanism , putting down hopper(s) and chests
- Done
It will work after a night if this modpack works like the last one
They can't exit the bed , leaving them in permanent despair

Zombies/mobs have a really high agro range for the player, like 20-30 blocks so it would need to be pretty far from you

Supplementaries cages can let you pick up small mobs like chickens, rabbits, or cats.
For larger ones, you can use carryon (shift right click, empty hands) and ride a horse/boat/broom home to get them back quickly

You can (shear?) them to pick up the plant itself.

Ooh well I don't exactly know I tried everything, updating the mods, and what lebron told me which didn't work (like both of those options) so I tried to download and run it on curseforge...same issue
And on ATLauncher i downloaded it in 1.19 version...and suddenly it worked
So I have no idea what the issue with 1.20 was
