- Build a base that is half underground and half above ground, with water logged stair walls. Then build a tower made of cobble so you can see the mobs around your base, then build an underground part covered with lava all around it so mobs can't mine to you, then build a moat that has spikes on the corners and middle, allowing you to gain resources from hoppers that are beneath the spikes (what i did)

I found out that you can just build a ring around your base, like 4 tiles out, and lay them with spikes and siren head can't touch your base

It’s nice if you want to have a source of food from almost every mob. But it get annoying as you’re slowed from having the mobs in your inventory
