Everytime I open my inventory or something that gives me access to my inventory (crafting table for example) my fps drops under 30 while I normally run 140. Any way to fix this?

I think I did something to my game when I built my base over the ocean XD nothing aggressive spawn at night. night 3 and I only saw 2 mobs 😅
and im like 15-20blocks from nearest "stable" block/land

In this modpack, insomnia is permanent, so you can't skip the night.(Even if during the day you don't see it, it's mentioned in the quests).

I did some testing with siren head. A ring of blocks seems to be effective at preventing them from getting to you
warning he has a habbit of clipping through blocks and ignoring physics

I don't have it down to an exact number yet, but I started at 10 blocks high and it is 5 blocks wide, going up 1 each step. Anything smaller and some will try to climb over it

im kinda confused how to play this game after 10-12 different worlds and different beginnings of the game (first 3 days and 3 nights playing on Easy, Normal and Hard).
bases above the water - bad
bases on land - bad
bases in the air(up to 20-30blocks above land) - bad
bases under the ground - bad
as zombie miner is not a problem, sirenhead is not a problem either, but this almost immortal alligator with 600hp, regeneration 6 and ability to destroy blocks is a bit too much, because it can spawn already on the first day XD and doesn't disappear at all like most of the mobs during the day, but sits under the base(or inside of it if it breaks through XD) and makes it impossible to continue the game. (dude can spawn on Easy which is sick af)
||Trying to run away from Mr. Alligator when daylight comes is also hard(but not impossible), as there are usually a bunch of other mobs(pack of 10-15) running after him, trying to kill him for some reason, just like they tried to do during the night.||
The only reasonable base seems to be the one in the air at an Y100-150 so that nothing big(skeleton or sirenhead) can reach you, but then collecting resources(iron, diamonds, loot from mobs) is very hard.
Watching the video “100 days” of this pack, created 2months ago this game was disgustingly easy XD now(from my perspective after several attempts) it is almost unplayable.
Ya base needs to be 130 + in the air. This latested update seems to be just a knee jerk reaction to all the vocal minority complaining about the pack being to easy and not enough different mobs so they added bunch of hard mobs.
i build my base on land, near a village, just use bamboo spike for defense, the strats is you dig a 2 block hole around your base and put trapdoors on top and spike in the bottom and on the wall. about the alligator, that one is likely impossible to kill because it's has regen 6 and adaption ability to any source of damage, just lure him to farm from your base and you should be fine(probably die during the lure tho)
the siren head might be a trouble, i doubt that extend the hole and build more defense wall might help

I thought the aggro range was farther than it was. The plan was to use myself as bait and pull things into a pit trap, but skeletons stop before the edge and spiders just crawl out

yes but I wanted to see if conveyors would push them over the edge, but I think it breaks their pathing

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.
To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

The Graveyard mod adds a bunch of easy lootable dungeons that can give you stacks of iron and enough diamonds to make armor if you can find em
Plus backpacks and other random good loot
Can also check around frozen ocean biomes for the Spore iceberg dungeon
Gives you stacks of coal and a few iron blocks
Plus enchanted iron armor that usually has prot 1 on em

I tried using Controllable but it crashes on startup. I've been trying to remove mods one at a time and think that it has something to do with mods that change up how code is configured and mods that add different code, as Controllable for 1.19.2 can't work with optifine for that same reason, but I haven't found a fix yet for it. Anyone else have any idea as to what it could be? So far taking out Redirector and Cupboard doesn't immediately shutdown the launcher, as after I click Play on the MC launcher itll just not load, but taking that out will now make it load but then give different errors when I take out different mods. The errors not being the lack of prerequisite mods since those show up after a successful launch if they are needed.

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

But you can still plant potatoes, for example. It is enough to have a lot of bones. Lack of water doesn't completely prevent you from having farms, they just work worse, and with bone meal it doesn't matter anyway

the modpack got really underwhelming
the spawn rates were too low in the previous version but some mobs added like scp 682 makes no sense to me
I think the spawn rate for the hordes are too much
I had to clear 6,500 entities from my server after crashing out
i ve had 3 scp 682 spawn and i had to remove them by command

because of the lag they were making in the spikes

i had to remove SCP Alligator(682) to be able to play this game.
Just want to clarify - I don't mind difficult gameplay, I like it when I have to struggle and spend more time than usual to achieve something. But it requires some optimization and balance on the part of the pack. Adding for fun a lot of strong enemies that appear in huge numbers and make the game impossible is terribly annoying and takes the “fun” out of the game, which should, after all, be a part of it.(Maybe I'm just so unlucky that every night I have 9999999 mobs, and during the day only the powerful ones stay, making it impossible to go anywhere from the base).

this pack is not designed for "fun" ....that's what i have deducted from playing it since v4
but i will agree on the "unfair" mob encounters that get you stuck in death loop until you rage quit or kill the thing that's killing you by some miracle...

true, but 16.5 was more of a hotfix, and v16 is imo worse in terms of content progression than v15 because of the introduction of game breaking scps/siren head. Im just wondering if either more balancing is coming or a better way to increase the scare factor while still keeping any level of fairness

And how exactly to deal with shyguy, we made a base underneath a mountains after our 2 other bases got demolished by him, he now spawns on top of the mountain and we are safe

i can verify that Aether is not for early-game gear
not even mid-game gear
it barely isn't even for end-game gear the way they designed it
pick one of the best armor sets, fully enchant/stack it
and MAYBE you'll have a chance surviving in the Aether
better chances if you have Regen.3 + strengh 2 + Resistance tarrot cards with you too!!

for server side mods you pop them into the mods folder of the serverpack.

DUnno if its changed with the update but its the spore cloud than can spawn them inside your base.
You can either wait for it to fade or run off to other chunks and let the cloud despawn
How does the spores work though? Is there a way to detect it? Ourbase was destroyed because it was over ran with that spore block

The cloud specifically should despawn as soon as you get far enough from it
I'm not clear on the newer versions of spore but the flesh mounds / hiveminds can still spawn them if there are any near your base, though
is there a way i can disable the infected in my server we started off with none now we just constantly get them and cant even do anything about it at this point we lost everything because the mobs just break everything and kill us then we are left with nothing

my base was overran by it because i didnt realize they were spreading, and i found out it can go to the nether and just will continously spread? what specific block or thing do i have to destroy in order to stop it from spreading?

You have to look around in nearby caves where its source is
find a " Flesh Mound" and kill it
any bodies you find with spore blossoms coming out of them can turn into a flesh mound so destroy those with an axe
it will clear up after all those are destroyed
so its specifically the flesh mound? if i kill all of that will everything revert? or the infected blocks and spores will remain still?
they will slowly die out
remember to destroy any bodies on the ground that have flowers coming out of them
they can turn into a new flesh mound

we know perfectly well that this is a shitty reason XD someone who thinks even a little(no offense) would simply modify the current mods, or add 1-2 new mobs, not 15 without doing anything with them(at least it looks like no one has done anything with them looking at their number)

Devs - Yes? ok, take your 15 new super tough mobs that kill you and destroy your base in 3 seconds, so you won't be able to play on your world thanks to that and the game will suddenly become difficult, because after all that was the point 😄

And i think it has the highest armor/ armor toughness plus wither immunity and passive speed 2 buff
Honestly tho my fav armor set is the two piece spiny armor and then w.e else for legs and boots
With thorns 4 on the spiny set mobs hit themselves for 20 dmg
Plus the damage return tarot card
Its a fun armor to use

I got the majority of the witherstone from an underground dungeon from the Cult of Wither mod
Spiny Shells can be found from the glutton fish in ocean biomes
or a crab at night on a beach biome
to get what like 9 witherstone i needed to finish the armor set I farmed the scythe pillager mob in a dark forest biome
Its like 33 witherstone to make the entire set i think
