A crusher, to get nitrate dust, a fermenter and squeezer to get plant oil and ethanol, and a refinery to combine those into biodiesel

Tanks are optional, you can fuel the drill in the output slot of the refinery, but its better to have tanks if you've automated the process like i have, with 2 cloches producing hemp seeds and glow berries

Normal Spore evolution is disabled by the modpack.
Normally they are supposed to attack other mobs to gain kill points and evolve.
Your options are to change the configs (which might infest your world with the spore biome and give you a hard time) or grind for it by suicide (or possibly snowmen)
It is fully possible to get the armor/weapon set without changing the config, but will take longer

Option 1: Infected Pillager in a disk farm
Trap the pillager, make it shoot through lava to hit the tnt
This will give it kills to evolve.

Once you have enough parts for a spore weapon, you can use Unwavering Nature on it to infect vanilla mobs (best being zombies/villagers) to make them Spore infected, then you can feed them snowmen or suicide to them for kills too evolve them. Keep in mind for any involving suicide you will need to nametag the infected so they don't despawn

Sorry if these farms are a little to simple/slow, but their all i've really managed to make work.
You can get loads of basic evolved parts (armor fragments, hearts) at some Woodland Mansions/Pillager outposts, which spawn in infected instead of vindicator/pillagers. Just keep in mind infected Vindicator/evokers cannot evolve.

Also i figure i should mention this exploit, and maybe the Devs can fix it next update:
The spore mobs were not blacklisted in the Carryon config.
You can pick them up with empty hands and shift right click.

Ignitium + Dark metal are upgrades to netherite, spore is a pain to farm for without changing configs, and abyssal comes from the Ice maze / aquamirae mod

There are different dungeons which have the membranes as loot, and you can also find get it as drops from Phantom Creepers (the black and purple ones)

Also always a good idea to get as many tarot cards as you can and put them in your tarot deck+curio slot, easiest place in the overworld would be the churches of sin (they have a big tree in the middle with rotten apples)

They spawn at night like other mobs just not very common.
Tarot cards are the main soucrce of buffs from the curio slots, but other nice ones are the tome of reflection, totem of undying, elytra, and aethers regeneration stone/iron bubble
There are a few others from Aether as well like Zanite/ice rings and necklaces, or the shield of repulsion but they have durability and break often, even with unbreaking/mending

As for armors, diamond is still really good as it upgrades into netherite and after, into Ignitium or Dark Metal
But if diamonds are scarce for you, grave metal or siege (zenyr ingots) are good
Just don't make the siege sword, it buffs enemies with regneration and resistance so for anything you can't kill in one hit you'll take much longer to kill, especially bosses

I personally don't use ranged but the revolver isn't hard to get, don't really know if i prefer it over a vanilla enchanted bow
I can't really recommend alot of bosses unless you have enchanted diamond or better armor, but Pumpkillager, or some of the dungeon bosses are probably doable.
Pumpkillager questline starts after breaking a few pumpkins
Which is actualy a good idea to do, you can get a netherite sword from it. Gravemetal can also make a scythe which is a decent weapon, and killing mobs with it drops souls sometimes which are used by the tome of reflection but also to upgrade a netherite sword into a stronger weapon

For endermen pretty much the same as vanilla, make a 2 high roof over your head, look at them from a distance in a safe spot and kill them when they teleport near
For anything else, at least early on i just used a lot of spikes (or magma blocks for one of them) in a moat around my base

Netherite armor, and best way to get netherite IMO is in tower bastions
I don't know the actual name of them but there are a bunch of blackstone towers conencted by bridges
Eventually you can use Eyes of flame there to find an arena and fight Ignis, which gives materials for the Incinerator weapon

No, Witch set does not increase the swod magic wave damage. I also tried the other magic staffs (born in chaos magic arrows/pumpkin) and those were not increasedWhat it does increase is the damage of harming splash potions (which in vanilla are classified as magic damage), though Hexerei is still in development and it may add some more magic items later

Creeper heads can be found in dungeons, or you can get them the vanilla way of having a charged creeper blow up another creeper. Or several other vanilla mobs.
As for phnatom membranes, just keep looting dungeons, you'll find them eventually.
I don't know the specific biome it spawns in but theres a kind of labytrinth where you can findn a bunch of membranes

What effects? What do they do?

Potion effects, using the Hexerei candles on the dipper over the cauldron. Give regen, haste, etc in a small aoe depending on the potion you use.
I think the mod (Hexerei) plans to expand that system eventually but for now its pretty basic and a beacon will definitely be better
Personally the only one i use is the anti-rain candle, which is dipping the candles into thick potion.

Gilded netherite is pretty hard to get.
Find a piglin prisoner in a Catacomb (soul sand valleys), right click to give it gold, travel with it to a Piglin Manor (Warped Forest) and ring the netherite bell

The steel plated shield does have special abilities, the Immersive Engineering manual will tell you more.
There is also Bulwark of the fame, which you craft using Ignitium

If you mean the Spore remains, yes they have a few uses. They can infect mobs with mycelium plague, giving you a way to get infected without Unwavering Nature (which only goes on spore weapons), they can prevent Spore mobs dying of starvation, and they can become Flesh mounds if tendrils from the spore mod find them

If you mean the Horror elements human remains, only for decoration

How do I evolve an infected zombie? How do I get them infected in the first place?

Infected spawn either naturally, from a spore cloud (which spawns when you kill infected mobs), or by killing a mob with mycelium infection debuff, which can be applied by an Unwavering Nature weapon (enchant that only works on Spore items), or through some things in the Spore biome

Spore mobs that are able to evolve need to earn three kills or more to start evolving (player or snowmen being the best options, unless its infected Pillagers) and then it takes about 20 minutes until they evolve

I have some very basic farms shown here, though i'm sure someone smarter can come up with more efficient designs

Alternatively, you can risk ruining your world and also making the game temporarily easier, by goign into the Spore config and turning on the option for them to attack mobs

This will make it far more likely to have a spore biome take over the world over eventually, but in the short term other mobs will be attacked by spore ones considerably reducing the threat to you

It will spread everywhere, converting many kinds of blocks, can break into bases and destroy chests (the intended way by having tendrils find ones with food and breaking them, and the non-intended way of placing Remains on them completely deleting the contents), and will eventually spawn the calamities, spore mods "bosses"

There is also the performance issue of spore hiveminds acting as chunk loaders which can end up causing some bad lag

I've tried several ways of playing with friends but it seems impossible, first thing, with world sharing, I gave the generated IP to a friend and it didnt work. whenever i run the file start.ps1, it shows an error at first which is user_jvm_args.txt not found. i fixed it by downloading latest java. however, now it just says ezxiting

Top armors would be imo, Ignitium (kill the Ignis boss, upgrade from netherite at smithing table), Spore (slowly farming it by evolving mobs or change a config), Abyss (ice maze boss/miniboss and framing mobs there), and Dark Metal (farming night spawns and the dungeons where dark metal spawns, then upgrade at smithing table)
Spore and Ignitum can be elytras too which is nice, Ignitium lets you walk on lava and see through it (broken by the games shaders). Spore/Living Armor lets you climb walls, and gives 4 extra hp with full set
Abyss effect i haven't used yet so not sure but reads like it lets you survive after dying for a time
Dark Metal is wither protection and something else at low hp, which i haven't really had to use yet so don't remember.. since anything that can get me low to HP isn't gonna let me live long enough to make use of the buff

There are some other decent sets too, but as long as its better than diamond and has prot 4 you can use pretty much whatever you like and still survive basically everything in this pack

The Incinerator is great, the ravenous claws, dark metal Warblade, a few different Spore weapons. Axe of the forgotten, Abyss weapons/Coral lance, void forge,
Personally i use the grave metal scythe. its damage isn't the best but it gives me lost souls, which fuel my tome of reflection bauble

For ranged weapons i don't really know as i don't use them often, but the wither howitzer/void cannon upgrade are fun

1. Download the serverpack from Curseforge's website
2. Right click the start.ps1 file and click Run with Powershell
   To join your own server, type localhost into Direct Connect.

No, but it’s the most suggested as it’s currently the most stable launcher out of all modded launchers. You absolutely need a modded launcher though. Can be curse (she’s got issues), atlauncher, prism, modrinth, any of them that require official Mc
