hey there I got a small question about the pack,
I been enjoying it a lot but, after finding basicly an instant win for each night the fun kinda got taken out (ps this worked for me for the first nightfall)

Are there mobs that can.. climb.. build or break blocks (that arent creepers)
cause after posting up within an outpost tower that are quite common and fencing the downstairs legs of the tower off..
Nothing gets to me, at all anymore. and the challange kinda disapears><
Idk if there are mobs that spawn later in the game with more nights passing or if I am just missing something but..

You can tell if they're a jumping creeper by particles around them

All the creeper variants can also be jumping so the enderman and skeleton creepers too

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. Did the settings for Spore change at some point, i remember a while ago they could attack other mobs, but in v11.5/12 they don't seem to anymore
Also if it is disabled, can it be re-enabled without risking the overworld getting overrun by the spore biome spreading?

You can enable the mobs to target everything also but it would make the spread of the infection alot worse

There is a new block called a CDU that supposedly gets rid of the infected blocks

in v12

To get the meat you need to craft a hook then put the carcass on the hook right click make sure you have the cleaver crafted then right click enough times and the carcass will drop meat till there is no more of the carcass and it dissappears.

Anyone know why my game might be lagging? its strannge, Seems like i lag only when i have the audio on. and it spits the audio rapidly in and out like its being overwhelmed souly by audio. I have a RTX 2060 and Ryzen 7. with 32 gigs of ram. 12 of it being used on minecraft. 8 being used on the server im hosting.

The lag only seems to happen when i go underground/during rain. But when im above ground i run at nearly 120 FPS. When the lag starts the second i turn off my audio the game runs fine again.

I'm trying to use the fear nightfall serverpack from forge and the powershell launcher won't work for me, i've installed java, deleted old java and inputed all the commands in the read me and the powershell still immediately closes, i am on windows 11 ghome edition and cannot find a way to get it to work

Next, navigate to your server directory using cd path/to/directory (for example: cd C:\Users\Username\Documents\Minecraft\Server)

You can now run the server by double-clicking the start.ps1 file, or typing .\start.ps1 into the command line while in the directory.

IF THE ABOVE DOES NOT WORK, TRY THIS
Run the command Unblock-File -Path .\start.ps1 in the same powershell window. This will allow the start script to not be blocked by windows, and run freely.

an xp farm is a useful way to get loot!

build up into the sky

then make a huge box

fill it with water that runs into the middle to push the mobs down

and then have a tube with obsidian

and hoppers with chests underneath

It's on the newest version but my friend decided to update all the mods in his pack so I had to do the same thing so we could play together

You need to use the versions in the modpack, as they are designed to work together with the versions already tested. Updating them breaks the pack as it's not been adjusted properly to the newer updates. You and your friend should not be updating singular mods unless told otherwise by staff here.

There's extra levels of configs and coding the devs do to make sure they all play nice together
