Is there anyway to tell why a localhosted server would be lagging?
It usually lags the most at my 4 spawner mob grinder, but mobs dont even spawn that fast, and lag just as much at 1-2 mobs sitting idly, as 10-20 mobs sitting idly
I have 7gb minimum allocated with 9gb set as max 💀 its not going above 8gb in usage so its not that i need to allocate more

I actually found the reason for the lag despite minimal mobs in my grinder

about 50+ blocks away, there's a huge mound of infected in a ravine, in a catacombs
the entire ravine/catacombs is infected, and massive amounts just spawn there

and somehow they spawn there while im at the grinder 💀

Hi, does anyone know which mod is causing a bug with Born IN Chaos boss summoning?
Basically, its intended that using a transmutation elixir on an Infernal Evil Pupmkin (or breaking the Green glowing version found in the wild) will summon Ser/Lord Pumpkin head bosses, but in this mod pack something intereferes with that ans only lets it spawn less than 1 in 6 times

@silver hill When you got time, can you let me know if Fear Nightfall has modified the structure set files or the structure set avoid tags from Repurposed Structures? A player is reporting a structure set cycle that is crashing their pregen and themselves if they reach problematic chunks due to an infinite loop.

Also you'll definitely want to update the Repurposed Structures - Better Jungle Temple Compat Datapack in Fear Nightfall\defaultconfigs\paxi\datapacks to v1.3 as I fixed a Structure Set cycle with it in the Nether. Currently I am having affected player try updating the datapack themselves to see if that is cause of their infinite loop crash but 50/50 on that.

its made of silverfish stone

so if your pc can handle it, just pillar up two blocks and start hitting them to call out more of their buddies until you erode the entire temple

turned off bobby but the chunks are still taking forever to load though

Anyone know a Packet buffer or similar mod to implement for a localhosted server?
Anytime more than 2 friends connect to my server, my ethernet completely disconencts on my computer, and i have to restart to get internet again.
I believes it due to too many packets/network activity and my isp just must not like it.
I tried fixes on google, and researched it a bunch but can't seem to fix it.
One fix, A Packet Buffer mod, I thought would work, but the thread/downlaod for it, is no longer available

3 something wrong with modem

id say just try checking router, giving it a update maybe a clean, then no fix go to modem do the same, no fix go to server porting make sure its all clean and works, then last thing call isp and ask em "aye my shit no work wtf you doin over there"

Early game tips:

1. Always assume that there's something hiding in the dark that can kill you.
2. When taking a break in a cave, you have to block off any entrances to your little safe haven completely. There are some mobs that can climb and slip through one block holes.
3. Backpacks and their effects are your friends. Same goes for Tarot cards.
4. Conserve any bit of resources you have, Cave mining is extremely dangerous and it is really hard to see some of the ores with the shader pack (I turned it off because it started to hurt my eyes.)
5. If you need leather (for anything really) you can use rotten flesh on Hexerei drying racks to make it

So I am having an issue with my save file, I tried to add the controller (forge) mode with the framework mod in order to allow controller support for Java but apperently it has done something to my world after I tried to uninstall it and my save file.

im not sure how to get around this

so was i to add the save file first

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

Are woodland mansions supposed to have a bunch of infected vindicators? One that I went to to get totems of undying had so so many of them with a few uninfected as well and uninfected evokers and it made the game lag horribly which I think was because of so many mobs "tracking" me.

i've only gotten a handful. So far i'm completely immune to fall damage, have a chance to do double damage on every attack, have permanent jump boost 3, and have a block place/attack/reach range of 6 blocks

i have to fight the dragon a third time just to forward the quest

first time it crashed on the last hit. Loaded back in and she's at full health again.

Defeated it, didn't give me the quest achievement bc i didn't pick up and place back down my bio forge to update the new quest

This is why i do not play hardcore

i have the full living armor + elytron. Kinetic energy does nothing to me. I can full speed ram into a wall with rocket power and only take like half a heart

was flying around the ender dragon, it grazes into me as im flying. Immediately get oneshotted by "kinetic energy" chewing through all 9 of my base hearts, my 3 symbiote hearts from the armor, and 5 gapple hearts

is there a way to disable teneborous lands mobs spawning in the end?

they are the most annoying things ever, they dont even do damage to me anymore they just take up resources to get rendered.

And DH: i think it wont work with shaders bc of oculus or fog but you can do a copy of your game and try it - although the mod is in alpha and it is a kinda large modpack i would not expect it to work

Depends on how you're running it.
Generally just tab to desktop on your VR headset then run the game.

@hearty imp i would explain herobrines wrath like a progressbar and overtime he`ll get more angry and more agressive at the player - but i not 100% sure

@hearty imp tarrotcards are pretty useful and kinda common IF you are brave enough to explore

They're also extremely powerful charms.

Effects such as double XP, weakness 2 on enemies,
Slowness 4 aura.
Regeneration aura on friendlies
Infinite night vision.

They're basically a necessity for this pack.

Hunt and treasure them.

Especially for dealing with higher speed nuke damage enemies like wendigos.

disable reflective surfaces, or lower the graphics quality of the shaderpack

it's already pretty performant, if you get low fps even after those changes, then your only option will be to change your graphics card. Really low end GPUs such as the GT 1030 can run the shader at +60 fps
