Some settings in specific bios systems have graphics settings which you might need to look through to see of its choosing auto or if its picking the dedicated gpu

In case someone checks in and ends up having the same problem with the ravenous claws, restart your game and it should go from 0/250 to 250/250. It's what fixed my issue. Just a little visual bug i think.

Wrong mod, the modpack has "From the Fog" which is herobrine. "Man from the Fog" is a surface version of the forest dweller and is NOT in the modpack.

For my little villager setup, I just made bridges out of dirt and rode a boat with one in the back. I'd have to take a break every few minutes, because slowly rowing across a dirt bridge brings out thoughts so bad that they try and kill you.

In time you'll reach an ocean or maybe a river, after that just try and ride it for as far as you can. When you feel like you can't make any more distance, just pop the boat and let the villager wander for a bit. I would put down stairs and push them up those stairs, which would make them climb higher, and at almost night I would kind of bait the villager around with beds.

Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The "Essential" mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the "Open to Lan" or "Share World" button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

Here's what I have set up.
Bamboo spikes protecting the upper wall, doesn't stop spiders from getting in but does weaken them.
Water pushes mobs into a level 3 Biomancy spike, which itself is surrounded by 6 hoppers, which Hop into some chests inside the wall. The water also allows creepers to harmlessly explode most of the time, but I'm planning on improving that sometime soon by making the wall waterlogged stairs instead.
Trapdoors between parkour blocks, because every now and then a villager jumps out and I want to keep the door open so they get can back in. Or I'm close to starving and can't make the jumps. Plus, when they're open (not flat) mobs think they're full blocks and fall in. No difficulties with it yet, except Crimson Moons make Zoglins, which can push eachother up them as though they were stairs. Oh, and Vex and Phantoms, but when are those not a problem.

Bonus: Heres what Herobrine left me, an N, and an I I partially destroyed because I realized partway through it was giving some pretty helpful light.

Vantage spot, get yourself a set of Zenyr Ingot armor (siege) and just stare down any endermen you see. Keep a campfire nearby, because that enderman is going to drain your sanity like... Crazy.

Oh, and get yourself a good sword. If you haven't already, make walls up around your base and kind of just hang out on top of there.

If you can, try getting a Sharpened Dark Metal Sword, carried me for most of my save. Basically a diamond sword with smite built in, and you can make it from the Dark Metal Dust Piles you get from some Born In Chaos enemies

Built in smite doesn't sound too appealing, until you realize it significantly increases damage against almost all the mobs at night.

Could be your CPU being overloaded, there are a LOT of spawns at night.

Try doing a night in Peaceful, it goes against the spirit of the modpack BUT you'll be able to find out if its the mob spawns doing it

You (likely) need to update your graphics drivers in order to resolve the crash. Here's how to go about doing that!

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL.

To install ATLauncher, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATLauncher does not see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "New Instance". Click "Ok" on the opted out mods warning, then click "Open All" on the manual download screen.
7. Let the mods download, ATLauncher will grab them from your Downloads folder and automatically add them to the modpack.
8. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATLauncher, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATLauncher and paste the Saves folder there.
Because ATLauncher downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATLauncher also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATLauncher installed.

You (likely) need to update your graphics drivers in order to resolve the crash. Here's how to go about doing that!

1. Identify your graphics card
if you already know skip to the next step

• Open task manager
• Navigate to the "Performance" tab (on Windows 11 this is the button that looks like a heart pulse)
• Press the GPU 0 graph and read your GPU from the top right

Note:
In some cases you may see a GPU 0 and GPU 1. This means your CPU has its own GPU, as well as an external one. You probably want GPU 1 (which is usually the external), but you can ask staff to clarify if necessary.

2. Download your drivers from the manufacturers site
Depending on what you read before, you likely need drivers from either AMD, Intel, or NVIDIA

Note:

So- the Nether. Am I meant to go through it to get healing potions for the flesh mod?

And is there a way to stop villagers getting possessed(?) and vanishing? I was hoping to make a base with some villagers running around, but they keep, I assume, becoming possessed and then despawning the way my animals frequently do.

Also, while I'm in here: is there a way to reduce the fog effect a bit in general? Half the time I feel like my eyes can't focus right when I'm in my (windowless) base.

The possession is from end of herobrine which if you go into configs can be turned off. (pretty sure)

Brewing stands can be found in the over world along with blaze rods but very specific structures, I'd gone into the nether before even starting chapter 2

If I turn off mobs getting possessed in the config, any idea if that will entirely turn off the spawning of possessed mobs (which I still need for quests), or just stop existing ones from changing?

Aha! Serverconfig lets you blacklist mobs from getting possessed.

I shoulda checked in here earlier.

Though now I'm concerned that they weren't possessed, because this blacklist already includes sheep, and I was definitely having sheep vanish.

Is there something that appears in fully enclosed, fully lit-up bases and kills mobs?

Or- hm. I actually tried spawning in a possessed sheep from a spawn egg at one point (was checking if it was even possible), and they just vanished. Maybe my sheep are turning possessed and vanishing because of that, which would suggest that villagers do the same.

So it is set up where it'll significantly alter the world if something isn't done about it?

I know it'll spread around a general area if you don't periodically go punch the corpse flowers, but it doesn't seem to do anything all that permanent, aside from occasionally breaking blocks.

Either way, Argo, you can almost always remove mods from a modpack just fine if no world has been generated yet. If you have generated a world, removing mods and then trying to play that specific world may not work.

You'll occasionally have issues if you remove the subject of a quest, and will of course always have issues if you remove a mod that another mod depends on, but I don't thiiink Spore is either of those in this?

I have spore in the mod pack and there's been no corruption/changing of my world, it's a setting that has to be enabled in configs for Spore. If it's not the only things that will spawn are the base infected creatures(Zombies, Humans, Villagers, Pillagers) and when they die they'll leave behind a Corpse that just infects creatures with the Mycelium infection. They also can't evolve or grow as I've found

That might be a disabled feature, or the video might have been hyping it up.

The little grass dealies that spawn around the corpse flowers can replace certain blocks (including water in your mob trap), but that's about it.

Though- by "corrupt your world", do you mean as in the in-game world changes into different blocks, or as in the file itself becomes corrupted and unplayable?

Spore definitely spreads through terrain and infects base level mobs but I never saw any evolved mobs

The infected mobs can leave behind corpse flowers when they die, which can spawn more infected mobs within a certain radius of the flower (including through walls), which can in turn make more flowers, but you can halt it by despawning them and breaking all the flowers.

And the infected mobs themselves are mostly not worse than anything else in this pack.

Infected Evokers are nasty because they have Vexes.

Like, "I'm not dealing with this, I'm out, get despawned" nasty.

(I have a tunnel that's long and deep enough that mobs despawn from the surface when I run down it.)

Curseforge app has its problems (I'm told), but does make adding and removing things easy.

Oh, and if you get the chance, take a peek at that lab. It may not be from Spore at all- Horror Elements adds a broken lab you can identify by all the Horror Elements models lying around.

A lab that has potions, Netherwart, and free hoppers in the ceiling of the entryway.
