Is fear nightfall a bit difficult? I kind of made a server pack out of boredom since it took a minute then launched it, liked the shaders, and uh

Welll... some do turn into possessed mobs, and they will attack you if you kill in front of them. So just keep them in a fenced enclosure, pick up animals you want to kill while avoiding the possessed ones and take it to a slaughterhouse

Hello, I'm new to server hosting for Minecraft, I'm using the latest version of Fear Nightfall, I usually host via gportal but I'm having issues and I can't tell if it's because of my hosting or the modpack. I am using the correct version of the modpack, I upload the mods like it says into the server mod folder, I have 9gb of RAM in the server. Everytime it loads the world at 67 percent, and then the console loses connection and the server turns off. I don't get an error, I've restarted the server many times and it just does the same thing over and over again. I don't know if this is because of my hosting or if I did something wrong or put the mods in the wrong folder. I would really appreciate some help ;-; thank you so much for anyone's time. I can provide any screenshots or info if needed. I'm just very confused and I spent money on a server for it to not work XD (hosted on Gportal to clarify)

I installed the latest server pack(V6), and just put the mods onto the server, drag and drop. I'm not sure if there was extra steps.

And then play the latest version of the modpack. It sees the server, until it crashes again and again.

My client seems fine, its just the server that's giving me issues. Did I not install the server pack right? :'((

It is highly advised to not use Optifine, as it is very glitchy, will increase loading times to upwards of 10 minutes, and will decrease your FPS substantially. All Luna Pixel Studios modpacks come with shader support without Optifine via Oculus on Forge and Iris on Fabric. Optifine is also incompatible with all of our modpacks. The game will not launch with Optifine installed.

Side note of the Atlases, if yours seems buggy or weird its because the mod "ImmediatelyFast" Is known incompatible with it, "as it replaces huge parts of the map render code causing artefacts Like lines between maps". And is installed in the pack base far as im aware

A fun little thing you can exploit, is that they'll usually chase you no matter what, so if you make a smaller pen for the posssesed ones joined to your actual one with a fence gate, you can usually get them to chase you into it, then just shut the gate an dont get close to them

God this is one thing I cant stand is the absurd amount of mobs I encountered while mining in just iron gear, honestly even in full inferium armor I can live but my sanity goes to 0 within time because of the mob hoard that consistently spawns in places I havent lit up yet, I swear ive made more torches than I used coal for fuel
