Not sure if this is intentional, but the globe from Supplementaries looks strangely like an ice planet after updating. Shouldn't the white patches be green, or has this been an intentional recent change I missed?

I'm using Supplementaries 3.1.10 and Moonlight 2.13.41 on Fabric 1.20.1.

So, can I assume this white globe texture is intentional?

I've now tested this on a minimal instance, the problem still occurs.

Using only:
Fabric API 0.92.2
Moonlight 2.13.42
Supplementaries 3.1.10
(Fabric 1.20.1)

Depends on the seed

#

Yeah this is intentional

You sure? I know it changes general appearances with every seed, but when I used the globe in the past before updating to newer versions, it was green and blue like a globe should be, not white and blue.

I’ve had worlds where the globe is like this and worlds where its green blue and white, or just green and blue

#

Im not sure anyway

I'll try a couple more seeds to see what happens. Thanks for your help! 🙂

Okay, so I figured it out. The globe turing white has nothing to do with the seed-dependent appearance, it's just an additional feature that the globe turns white during the winter months, especially in December. There have been various people reporting white globes on this discord during December in the past.

Tl;Dr: It's not a bug, it's a feature ^^

(Which isn't mentioned on the Supplementaries wiki, hence the confusion. Sorry!)
