when I was a kid, maybe 5 or 6, I was washing dishes with my mother. We heard a glass break, like we had dropped something. We searched the whole house, even our cellar, and nothing was broken.
We talked to our neighbor, and mentioned it. She got a little uncomfortable and told us the man who lived in the house before had a heart attack in the bathroom, which was connected to the kitchen. He had a mug in his hand, which shattered when he fell.

Today, I am going to tell you my brother's story in Kinmen.

My brother was in the army for three years and he was an artillery officer in the artillery barrack in Kinmen.
I'm female and when I heard about the artillery barrack, I thought my brother was bullshitting me, but at the time when my brother was enlisted into the army, I felt very bad for him, as I heard that newcomers used to beaten and bullied by the veterans and had to sleep at the graveyard.
Anyway, one time when my brother came back on leave, he told me that something big happened in Kinmen. Apparently, a lot of money had been missing in the company. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Company_(military_unit)
There was a rigorous investigation but they couldn’t find out where the money had gone.
At the time, new recruits were treated very poorly – a senior officer told them, if the money could not be accounted for, the new recruits (including my brother) would have to pay up to make up for the loss. Out of frustration, one night after 12 o'clock, the new recruits including my brother, played 碟仙 in the dormitory. (碟仙 is the Chinese version of the Oujia, in which participants use their forefingers to push a small saucer over a sheet of paper inscribed with numerous Chinese characters)
The first ghost who came moved very slow, so slow that my brother said they almost fell asleep. When they found out it was an old man, my brother and the others asked it to leave, and summoned another ghost. The next one moved much faster.
My brother asked first: Are you male or female?
The saucer went to “女” (female).
The next person asked: How old are you?
The saucer went to “22”.
At this point, someone said, let’s not waste time and ask her what we had summoned her for.
A person asked: Do you know where the money had gone to?
The saucer went to “連”
Everyone was confused.
Someone asked, is the person’s surname “連”?
The saucer went to “no”.
Another person had an idea and shouted excitedly: Don't tell me it's the company commander! (連 means “company”)
The saucer went to “yes”.
Everyone stared at each other... What are they going to do?
Then the squad leader came in and yelled “What the hell are you doing. You guys don't want to sleep, do you?”
My brother and the others were startled and almost let go of the saucer. Someone told the squad leader about the 碟仙 but the squad leader was sceptical. So, they asked the spirit again: “Please tell us again, is the money taken away by the company commander?”
The saucer went to “yes”.
The squad leader said: Alright, you guys can stop now. I will do the investigation.
However, when everyone asked it to leave, it refused to do so. Instead, it ran in circles and moved faster and faster. The guys almost couldn’t hold it down anymore and they panicked.
Then someone asked… Do you have something to say?
The saucer went to “yes” and slowed down again.
“If you want us to help you, go to ‘1’.”
The saucer then went to 1.
In short... The girl said her gravestone had not been cleaned and she had not received any offerings for years, and she wanted some offerings. They asked her for the approximate direction of her grave and her name.
Later, on a Sunday, the group of soldiers went to look for the girl's grave, but they couldn’t find it throughout the whole morning because of the weeds. It was only in the afternoon that they found a small tombstone with the girl's name written on it. My brother and the others helped to clean the gravestone and pay respects to it.
That night, when they went to bed, they talked about what had happened in the past few days. Then everyone had a dream that night.
In the dream, a girl dressed in white came to thank them. Then she smiled at them and drifted away.
In the end, it was found out that the money was indeed taken by the company commander, and he gave it back.

I have a few ghost stories. One time I was at home alone and it was dark. I was in my bedroom on the top floor and thought ill wait to go down stairs (I lived in a three story house, like a town house).
Then while in my bed I heard the front door open , someone walk up the stairs, open the kitchen door and throw their keys on the counter. Then I heard some dishes and that was it.
Like half an hour later my mom came home, unlocked the front door and walked up the stairs and went into the kitchen, I could tell it was her this time because I could hear her be vocal. soo what was the noises before if it wasnt my mom 🤔 spooky 👻

One time me and my mom was watching TV in the old house (the town house) I think it was a movie. Anyways , we both heard someone walking up the stairs 😭 only us two was home and my late dog was in the living room with us sleeping 😭
My old bedroom door would always get stuck and would be hard to open. My dog one day was sniffing it and it just calmly opened for her, no one was in my room at that moment too. Yet before and after it still was hard for Me to open , it's because the handle always got stuck, soo how did it open for my dog when she was only sniffing the floor by the door and the door, no force, just sniff 👻
One time my brother told us he saw my older sister standing in that same houses window, that was before it was her bedroom. He said he shouted hello but got no response, she was just looking at him. The thing is, she wasn't even home then. When he saw her, he was asking why she ignored him, it wasnt even her, she was confused 😂
That same house again, we had a white cat at the time. Called Angel, he would always sit in the road , thats how we found him , soo we adopted him. He wasn't ment to be an outside cat but my dad didn't listen at the time and kicked the cat out, we found him hit by a car after that idk if it was a day later or not since it was ages ago, but he always had the cat bell collar on. A few days go by and my mom and sister was in the living room (or was they watching TV in my moms room idk) they was talking and then heard angels collar bell in the hallway. Like the bell jingle. (Before we had a dog) They told me they looked at each other confused (im guessing it was like this but without the monocle 🧐) they paused and then both asked if they heard that and then I forgot the rest what they said

I had a large, dog stuffy that always sat at the end of my bed. I was 6 at the time, and woke up due to a nightmare. I looked at my clock and it said 3:01 am, I looked at my stuffy. I swear I saw the paw of the dog move and touch my foot. I got rid of the stuffy the next day
