Oh i agree with you on boba, I don’t like it either
Actually nvm
Imma just go to bed
All those balls
I've never had boba but personally I don't want a drink I have to eat at the same time

are you expected to eat those balls btw?
I've never had boba tea and never saw anyone drinking it (cuz it doesn't sells here)
yea
so the answer is: yes I should eat them?
Mhm
Ive started drinking matcha and bought a tea pot and stuffff
oh damn I cant send pics yet
sadge
Ill send pics as soon as I can
My matcha foaming has gotten very good :3
Its ceremonial grade which is expensive 😭
But worthhh
Even your banner is tea 😂
Im sorryyyy 😭 life has been busyyyy
Tsk tsk tsk. Its not for everyone so thats okie
I personally love matcha and hojicha
Both are delish
Some nice loose leaf tea. I got a whole bag of samples
Ooh you got one of them nice pots
Heheh yeeee cost a decent amount but i got 30 samples to go with it
The black one costs like 80 dollars
Those whisks get expensive, why not just use a hand blender /j
The little spoon looks like a shovel lol
Although imma use my old whisk for hojicha since its damaged
OH thats not a spooooon! Its for helping get all the matcha through the shifter which is the dark red container
Oh ic
I dont drink enough macha to know lol
Thank you for teaching me some new stuff
Aww ofc ofc im learning stuff tooooo as i go along!
Yes, all mine
I’m so jellie
My grandma has a some gorgeous ones
But idk how they would fare through shipping
I have 2 other cabinets of matching sets too
No
Stop
This is unfair
Not that I don’t like me cups
But like those look so gorgeous
Some of my porcelain is actually stamped occupied Japan like my favorite piece, the red cup
Would you mind explaining what that means
I might know the concept’s name in Ukrainian, but not in English lol
It was stamped during a period from 45 to 47, but most was left unmarked
I’m so jealous
Nooo
Stop
When I get enough savings imma just buy tea cups and China
Who needs food anyway
Mostly heirloom
My mother worked with a doctor from China, and every new year they exchanged figures. So, thats where pig came from
Damn that’s some nice matcha
Its a new brand so i hope its good :3
Foaming skills on POINTT 💪💪💪
Super smooth and fluffy hard to describe the flavorrr
Not as strong as the others
I have accepted mine and my blood shall run green WITH TEAAAA
I need to stop drinking tea cause it started to stain my teeth and my doctor was like bruh wtf
Cause I drank upto 6 cups a day
Yeah 😭
Better than coffeeeee. Im more worried about smoking since i do it every so often. Not often enough for it to become a habit but still me no likey teeth stain
Ik ikkkkk ;-;
Tea sample for today ❤️
Got my bag of ceremonial matcha tea
They look good!
Did you order these from one of the websites or use a brand from a store?
They were gurddd heh. Def need to add sugar. I wonder if the honeydew ones are already sweetened since i have those too 🤔
If it's got an added flavor, I'd expect it has added sugar. Tapioca, being just cassava starch, is usually pretty bland
But yeah ill let yall know if the honeydew ones are any gurd. Gonna enjoy putting them in my giant thing of Hojicha milk tea
I've seen flavored balls but only had the plain ones. Every time I end up getting boba I get the same thing, lavender🪻
This is the kind of thing I imagine when people say "chai tea"
I've had that exact brand and flavor before 💀
It's good black tea, but it's definitely not the Chai I would get at an Indian restaurant, or something like that.

New matcha :3
Smells like heaven
I like this type more than the other two i got
Stronger flavor
"Ceremonial Matcha" from Mei Leaf
I WANNA TRY MATCHA SO BAF
what does it taste like tho
Is it sweet bitter sour bland
vegetable like
fruit like
Bitter, but good matcha is good
Most people who say they don't like matcha never had good matcha
I wonder if there's any tea that makes your body cool.. that would be nice!
you can ice any tea
especially good for oolongs and green teas imo
A response to a very very old comment lmao but oolongs are peak. I also cold brewed some Sencha that had cherry blossoms in it and it was THE BEST drink to have after working in the sun
Cant get my chinese or japanese tea anymore but this stuff is actually really good
Really cheap too only like a dollar
My hand makes it look tiny but im just a big boi
This was from a special spring time sakura collection
Normally i dont mix my tea with stuff but god this was delicious when i had it
I miss my matcha
Matcha time !!! 🍵
oolong!
the best chinese tea
Thought id post the links to the websites where i get my tea
This is where i get my Japanese tea and matcha
Very good seasonal collections, their matcha is very tasty and offers different regions. Ive become discontent with matcha being grown and processed in the Kyoto area since everytime i do get some its acidic so i highly recommend other regions like Kyushu. They also have very good sencha and gyokuro which is amazing cold brewed
Centuries of expertise and different microclimates create an incredible variety of green teas in Kyushu, Japan. Green teas from Yame, Chiran, Higashi-Sonogi, Miyazaki are sweet, rich in umami, and packed with antioxidants and vitamins. Tea farmers grow rare cultivars like sae midori or yukata midori.
This is another site ive tried thats also very good and it's sourced from Kyushu
This is where i get my chinese tea
Very very good oolong tea i recommend the Phoenix Village
Yunnan is known for their Pu-erh tea but when i got some from here i hated it its not for me
They also have delicious white tea. The Imperial Grade Silver Needle is amazing
Not sure if i ever got to show these off since i was prolly away from the server at the time
But my gf got me chinese tea cups and theyre my favorite tea cups ever ❤️
The orange and white cups are my fav
My gf got me the small portable tea set while my fam got me the big metal chinese teapot
Sadly no tea to speak of 😔
But thought id share
Would bring the little portable tea set to work on night shifts
Would be awesome during the colder nights
Very cool sets
Thank you!
Some earl grey with a bit of milk and sugar
never had earl grey with milk but you're making me wanna try it
love the set btw, the last one looks amazing
Thank you!
I normally dont drink my tea with milk and sugar either but its actually a really good combo for Earl Grey
Yeah same, it's usually just tea for me.
Guess I'm going with your recipe tonight
black tea
Oolong for me
Ty its a tea pet!
It brings good luck
Haha yeah they have a BUNCH of cool ones so u can find plenty
Mine changes color when u pour hot water on him
that's so cool, reminds me the cup that change color when pour hot water
Hi everyone I’m new here
Welcome how did u end up in the tea chat lmao
Idk haha
not a native tea enjoyer, but i enjoy the aesthetic. Mint or anything with milk and honey = shteki na mono
U should try some chinese tea if u ever get the chance
hello! i'm new here and wanted to see what kind of threads there were. i wanted to talk about this one reeeeaaally good tea i had, but the place that made it shut down :( it was a local shop. the tea was a rooibos (i think), and was called "blueberry crumble" and i swear i was addicted. i was wondering if anybody has had anything similar?
Ive personally never had anything like that but I imagine certain brands like bigelow would have some good ones! I enjoy their earl grey. Other than that im not too familiar with flavored tea like that
i enjoy the bigelow green teas, but i have to go with twinnings when it comes to earl grey
I didnt really enjoy twinnings earl grey unfortunately 😔 . Idk if im just used to Bigelows or what haha but it just didnt hit the same for me
I like to make a london fog with it
ooooh
yeah i tried the bigelow earl grey, but it didnt hit the same for me
its good, dont get me wrong
but my taste buds are weird like that and like the twinnings one better
Same everyones got their preferences and likes in that regard haha. But if youve never tried a london fog before i highly recommend it its great for cold days. Just earl grey, milk, and vanilla syrup.
oooh i'll have to get some vanilla syrup and try it sometime! thank you!
Np! If u want any chinese or japanese tea recs and distributors feel free to @ me
@carmine jungle I need some japanese tea recs! im pretty well versed on chinese tea, and im really into sencha and matcha, but i don't really know any jp tea besides those + hojicha/yuzu tea
Genmaicha is another popular one that people enjoy. Im not a huge fan of it personally but its not bad. Gyokuro is another good one that i enjoy, its shade grown so its a bit smoother. Those r the ones ive tried and personally enjoyed I love hojicha as well. I havnt had as much inclination to try more japanese teas since ive been focused on chinese tea as of late haha. But i do know a site that has excellent teas and they do seasonal stuff like in spring they add cherry blossoms to their tea and it made the BEST coldbrew tea ive ever had
Ive had Bancha before too and it was ok but it had a strong vegetable taste. For me Japanese tea tends to be hit or miss other than matcha.

These guys are great. Never had a bad experience with their green teas other than just some being not for me haha
