Hi. Apologies I don't come here often. No, nobody replied. But re hardness (and richness), my guess is that the expression is extraction = (mining_rate/hardness) * richness%. I watched just now the video of the latest brew and they had mining_rate = 516 (1 guardian, 1 C11 - from the sheet it's 516.01), hardness=1 and richness=100. And the mining recap view showed extraction = 516.
Re distances, I'm imagining we can take the Cartesian distance using coordinates from the maps in astronomical units (I saw one somewhere with some numbers).
And finally I think there will be no movement within each sector: my bet is they abstracted it away with the "Fuel (Asteroid Exit)" value. But I'm not following much, so there might be more info around.

Yes the duration of your lock increases the polis rewards if you lock for longer. PvP determines how much of the polis emissions you get and the time you lock for determines how much PvP you get from the locked polis

I think not,you have to carefully prepare where you go cause there is fuel consumption and things which take time like crafting.

Hard to tell, depending on your playstyle and what you trying to achieve. You always can "park" your ships in the faction fleet. For exact timers and so on I think we have to wait for the release and people figuring everything out. Also since it's a completely player driven market, things can change every time and we need to adjust our goals in game.

I've been having issues withdrawing my ship from the faction fleet. I've tried countless times within the last hour and I cannot troubleshoot the issue. I filled all of the supplies and then tried to move my ship back into my phantom wallet and then I tried my solflare wallet with the same address, all of this was done through the brave browser. The phantom wallet kept giving me the error message "transactions reverted during simulation" while initiating the smart contract. Every time I tried to connect the Solflare wallet, it gave me a blank screen and I couldn't click anything. I also tried going into the chrome browser but everything was the same. Any idea how to resolve this issue?

It's a simulation issue and a consequence of how phantom implements auto sign. **If we send the wallet two transactions to sign, and the second one depends on the results of the first, phantom gets scared and throws that error. **

But in reality it's perfectly fine and will eventually succeed when it makes it on chain
