Of course you will get the smallest ship for that price, and your earnings will be likewise relatively small. It’s really about how much you are willing to invest, so I recommend you look around and get up to speed on what this game entails before making any decisions 🙂

Great! No you don't need anything else to get started on release. Posters were mainly an early adopters release which gave rewards to those whom invested very early on in the rebirth campaign. Hello @burnt halo ! Yeah, well Star Atlas is going for the Unreal Engine 5, which in my opinion will be the best choice for this game. Star Citizen did make a game and then scrapped it to remake the whole thing in a new engine (from my understanding) and alot of questionable use of funds. Star Atlas looks more promising in my opinion. It will be years of development for this aswell, probably 5-8 years untill there is a FULL game. But it will be released modulary in a playable quality part of the game, in about 1 year.

I dont think the faction has that much of an importance for that. Mostly factions give perks in ships from current view. I'd highly recomend checking out the #887754598184521731 or the link in my profile;) As it will benefit you the most by having a secure network of people to rely on in terms of farming and mining, by all means its fully possible to go solo.

OK cool. Makes sense really. I saw a youtube video a few hours ago and they mentioned that there was a playable Demo starting yesterday, maybe it was exclusive to influencers. In my confusion I rushed to try and play the game I discovered that its not yet playable. Thanks for the response.

If you're certain about your faction, you need SOL for the transaction fee. I keep atleast 0.1 SOL in there for that. (cost is way less, like 0.003, but it sometimes messes up when under 0.1 for some reason)
