Hello everyone, just found this game, it looks amazing, i can see the ship i want... can afford... but do you HAVE to have a pilots licences to use it in the game or does the licence only apply to certain "faction areas" it looks like the licence is more expensive than some of the base level ships.

Licenses will be earnable in-game, and some ships don't require a license at all... so highly questionable whether it's worth grabbing one from marketplace when they're priced so high right now. Welcome aboard, and be sure to check out the other channels on this server for more info like that. The star atlas white paper is a great place to start...

You don’t even need a ship to play the game necessarily… but yes compared to a $250k ship, a $20 one will be “limited”. It’s all relative, and developers want everyone to have fun and have a path forward in the game

Hi, I bought some X4. I see it in my wallet, but I dont see it on the star atlas dashboard. As a matter of fact. When I click play it usually took me to market which had a dashboard and you could click on inventory, but now I am just sent to the marketplace page. And on step my collectables show up but it says the value is <$0.01. Does anyone know why it's doing this? Did I miss a step?

I was having the same problem but I sorted it somehow, token is now showing up in inventory and wallet 🙂 Go to STEPS and settle it connecting your wallet. I had to do it a few times it was giving an error, just disconnect and connect again until you get it.

Well ships go from 20$ to millions, Common items are low price, probably never higher than 50$ . the higher rarity, the higher price. When you buy a cheap 10-20$ space station, you get the very basic there is of a space station. Then you can upgrade these to your preferred use. Now those are likley not 10$ upgrades we're talking about 😅

I bought my very first NFTs today. I own 3 PEARCE X4's I been a fan of SOL for awhile now and loved hearing about ATLAS when it first came out. I'm looking forward to crashing these ships into stuff 🙂 I had a hard time purchasing but used the settle feature on step finance to (claim) my items. I'm not sure if it's a glitch with sollet or what but I also can't seem to buy with my phantom wallet. Glad I got it figured out enough to see my ships in my wallet sollet now. I still need to figure out purchasing though phantom though.
