the dao paid for eveye to rebrand and upgrade it was a 1 time thing, any future payment would need to be a new pip however the idea is that eveye is self sustaining (note this is the goal for every project the dao funds as the plan is to boot strap stuff we need not subsidize it)

the base payback for the dao is via revenue from ether player retention or advertisement as well

However, once Zinc and C4 (the new version of SAGE) launch, one of the biggest costs "transaction fees" will be minimal compared to now. This means a $100 investment will most likely be profitable. My zero to hero adventure in StarAtlas is going well with 10 xxs and 2 xs free from achievements and my R4 still collecting from my claimstake that I got from selling Escape Velocity loot.
Also got some free crew cards from leveling in Ue5 racer I only had to buy 1 crew to make the 4 because I got the other 3 from SURGE player test.
But if I could of used the Never Alone free crew I would not of needed to sell some R4 to of got the crew needed.
But after that I got some more crew to level up for the next free crew cards.
Only 1 crew left to level up for that.
I think I am ready for C4 with the z.ink level around 700ish rank 7 and ink of 23k it would of been 25k but gave 2k to go towards Super Phenix shooter and racer contestants prizes when they are adding it you will have to ask them.

If youre talking about the 3d Epic Games version, its not much more advanced than it was a year ago. However, it does have a single player being built out now thats quite fun.

As far as getting assets and being ready to go. The big update for SAGE is right around the corner, C4. Its going to bring a ton of new content. Still in a browser based 2d environment though. Much more advanced environment though. Many new features

and ships are in a very cheap spot atm. IMO, a great time to stack some up

holosim is a 100% free to play simulation with its own version of sage
sage is right now the primary actual game if your looking to earn but it could be expensive to get to the point where you see real returns right now

sage / holosim are both browser based logistics games

well that was interesting i send my ship via automation to go and mine a star base and it ended up near the uster home world with no fuel

i though you were supposed to get notification if you didn't have enough fuel to go somewhere let alone to automate off in a completely random direction

It was fun while i played it, over a year ago though. The nft drop rate was terrible though, and split between the group. 1 nft drops, the group has random rolls for it

so you can play for months and never have rng in your favor and never find an nft

Yeah, it’s been about a year since I played. It was super fun when the NFTs and big-time token drops were high, but as a result, there were farmers exploiting, they nerfed drop rates, but it affected the every day player badly and a lot of people were upset.. I’m hoping they can continue building and bring the game to fruition as well.

1 airbirke, then add more after. XXS are the worst for that, because of the amount, but it works.

Another thing that helps is to create with 1, remove the crew from it, then add more, remove crew again. Then go all the way to the amount you need, and add the right amount of crew at the end.
