Yah.... graphically the High Punaabs are "bigger" as you kindly put it... lol... Which to me implies that they must be the ruling class, while the profound are the working class.... as they appear to be more fit. I have also noticed that folks put up the chubby patricians for sale at a lower price point... though once the game launches, I would have thought that the patricians would be wealthier/rarer/have some boost being the noble class... maybe charisma, leadership, etc.

nah once we have the rpg aspects up and running things will smooth out ie the hit box is not going to be as important for most of the actual mmo play

For many games, not an issue, but in a FPS... to have a character skin so small makes it hard... the hit box/hp/damage/speed ratio will be very tough to keep fair against other races that are all relatively the same (with the exception of tanks like in the Uster).
Not saying impossible, just tough...

I think the path for recouping and making folks like myself whole would be by allowing us to craft/build/acquire in game assets that eventually could be sold or used in game... Everyone only looks at crafting ships... I think crafting things like habs, modules, parts, skins, etc. and that being a function that can only be done via ships/ship usage is a way to recoup value... Ie. the ships may not ever recover, but in total the other assets you create via the ships can make you whole...

All while the team works other aspects.

Well we don't have a lot of details. They worked with ATMTA and promised up to 30k simultaneous players in a single instance.
It was one of those things that gave us hope we could reach a true metaverse and had never done before. But after some tests, that were fun, it was clear it needed a lot more work
As far as we know they are not part of the current scope, but I could be wrong. I'm sharing from a community member point of view.
As far as I know that technology still doesn't exist to achieve the single-instance, persistent, world experience.

That high fee is only because it’s your first claim.
Star Atlas has to create new token accounts in your wallet for each resource, and on Solana that requires a rent deposit (about ~0.002 SOL per token).
Since you’re claiming 4 resources, that’s roughly 4 × 0.002 SOL ≈ 0.008 SOL.
This SOL is not a real fee, it’s just locked as rent.
You don’t pay it again on future claims, because the token accounts already exist.
If you ever stop playing or don’t need those token accounts anymore (or with the release of Z.ink), you can use Sol Incinerator to close them and get that SOL back.

He may be too conflicted a character for people to understand. I had you in the 1st Chronicles but when my sister-in-law was reading it she got to that part and I could tell she was expecting your arc to be a love interest and that would not work all you were doing was warning me about Rome but I guess I made you look too mysterious and intriguing so you didn't make the final edit for the first book. Not to worry I have the first and last chapters of the 2nd Chronicals done I'm just waiting for C4 to fill in the gaps and I would not be supprised if you didn't make an apperence there.
