It requires incredibly expensive equipment to apply, takes insane care to protect, can't be exposed to the elements, and is essentially a cool lab toy that is pretty useless in real life. They painted a BMW in Vantablack, and it is super cool.. BUT you can't drive it. Rain, dust, wind, bugs... would destroy the coating. And on a sunny day, the metal will absorb so much heat that it will become unbearably hot inside. Looks great though.

Yes, absolutely, I've been pretty steadily adding to my atlas in the DAO over the last 3 years and buying crew and ships and participating in the game activity. If we turn this around, I'll be sitting pretty. I love this project so much. It would be my dream to make this game my job just managing my assets on it. I feel like we need some kind of white swan event to get this asset class back in the right direction. Community is so important to get through this. So I'm still hopeful. Well I tried but your game is frustrating me more than I can tolerate. After a few hours I am finally in the actual game on the Epic Games platform, I increased the resolution so it doesn't look like garbled pixels, created a wallet, and tried to do the dogfight training. After fumbling around to figure out how to get a vehicle and get inside of it the actual tutorial started. I didn't see any ships but they were shooting me, never attacked anything then it just said "mission successful" or something of that nature. So I didn't learn anything but I completed the tutorial, which means the tutorials aren't going to teach me anything. I don't even know what specifically to ask other than, what do I do with this game?

There are many bugs, you probably didn't do anything wrong. The tutorials are very lacking atm. The most polished sections of the game currently are racing/siege/arena - The co op dogfighting is still WIP and has many problems. T is used to target enemies in dogfighting though, once you have a target it makes it easier to find the enemies. Not sure why it just ended the wave wthout you killing one, most likely a bug.

There are a couple pinned msgs in #💥┃ue5-game chat. One showing all the current bugs and another showing basic tips for different parts of the game. #💥┃ue5-game message

Still early for our epic games version. Hope some of that helps. That channel I linked you is also a great spot to ask questions about various parts of the game

Main menu for star atlas maxes out my gpu usage and runs at like 6 frames

But the actual game in low settings runs at about 60 fps in races

Any way we can get some optimizations done for the game so far?

Here is an idea, machine specific menus. detects graphical settings and determines the menus you use

Just make 2-3, High Graphic usage, Mid graphical usage, and low or just high and low

Basic menu cut down, runs at 300 fps uses a looping song and pics of nft

It should be MUCH higher. Minimum is epic on diamond pack. So its smth like: 90% epic, 9% legendary, 1% - anomaly. Still super low keeping in mind how hard to get that pack, but 0.00smth makes this pack literally useless

dimond packs are super limited though max 1 per epic key, plus they have anti cheat stuff so its not even that if your trying to farm them even then trying to just get 1 is hard, the plat packs are the primary source for the epic and higher crew

Ye, i agree, this is not a strategy like: "im gonna farm diamond packs and find anomaly", but miracles can and should happen. We currently have 1 player that is aiming there and 1% getting anomaly for ~6month afford looks fine for me. With current pace regular players will NEVER get that pack anyway
