Here’s a tip for those renting out their fleets, especially fleets used for mining: if the Mining Score you see on the screen is above 0.7, your ships will be rented immediately. If it’s below 0.7, your ships won’t be rented for a long time. Those above 0.8 are in high demand.
Don’t let your ships sit idle for long periods. You’ll earn more from a fleet that’s constantly rented than from one that sits unused for days.

There are fleets in the system that haven’t been rented for months. If you lower your prices and maintain the Mining Score balance, your fleets will never sit idle. There will always be renters, and you can earn passive income—constant earnings without doing anything. Don’t be greedy and immediately raise the price of a rented ship; if you increase the price, no one will rent your ships.

It’s also worth noting: XXS, XS, and Small fleets consume a lot of Solana fees, so even if their Mining Score is above 0.8, they don’t generate much profit for renters and are therefore less preferred by players. I suggest you take this into consideration as well.

Has there been really any explanation as to what the scores mean and how they’re calculated. Not just for mining, a lot of the scores just seem meaningless since I don’t really know what the calculation is lol

Ratings are calculated based on the market price of the item to be mined, the Solana fee, and 4R consumption. For example, let’s assume a fleet mines 10 million hydrogen per day.

Rental fee + Solana transaction fee + daily fuel consumption + AMO + food = item price

If an item obtained through mining via rental is priced above or only slightly below the market price, users will prefer to buy it from the market rather than rent.

If we take the ship here as a reference, the Eveeye website will help us with this.

This is a general question about skins when looking for a character I heard there could be a type of plastic surgery transformation for features. Is this something in the future and if we create the character images for a story can the crew possibly be transformed to match the image?

i think that corelates with how much different types of assets they create in ue5 (you only can use what a graphic/designer created), switching gear and parts should be possible, but i think thats super far into the future, not even sure if planned yet, maybe @haughty spindle has more details
there is a lot of stuff with crew going on which is not finished yet, stats, leveling and so on also things like universities for recruiting them and and and

i mean i would love uploading a pic and it creates the face in ue5 and so on, but that comes with a lot of implications/complications i think

The team is very hessitent to allow user-created imagery into the game. It will happen, esp for banners, etc. I do not necessarily expect you to be able to alter the appearance of a crew member based on a design you made though 🤔
