DAO is the treasury coin so i dont see it directly influenced by Zinc. It relies more on general sentiment about the project and on the good or shitty decisions or PIPs that could be voted. For Atlas its another story as its the utility coin. But if i followed well the TH, the new coin, Zinc, and therefore the new chain aims to replace Solana and bring down the Tx fees. So it could be a good idea but if it doesnt work well it can surely affect the credibility of the whole project. Also i think it would be better to have more validators for this new chain, otherwise its credibility could also be questionable on this ground

The lore and mechanics of this game are huge...and few members may drop out (due to difficulty). GM! Question you might be able to answer my friend... When staking Polis, can we stake in multiple time frames using the same wallet/account OR do we still need to set up a new wallet/account for each time frame we want to leverage? For example, in 2021, I locked in for 5 years... for a new lock, I dont want to add to that existing time frame, I might want to have an additional lock for the week/month lock period so that I can have some liquidity if needed... Hope that makes sense. I imagine the simple answer is to get another wallet and stake on another account, though when we look at the point system for z.ink drop, there is likely a multiplier on singular accounts doing more things...

Essentially, i would like to have different vesting schedules for various sums... kind of like a rolling CD plan... I am aware I can always add money to the exiting 5 year lock without resetting its timer. 🙂

If youve got polis locked for 5 years and you want to lock additional polis for 2 weeks youd need to set up a new wallet

in SAGE you need actual Star Atlas assets like ships and crews to play but you earn through the in-game economy, . for now SAGE has mining, transpor, scanning, crafting, while
Holo is the free version but with most game functions are operational.

Unlike Holosim, Sage still has the old functionality and old map. It doesn't have any quests or combat yet (only mining and data run activity). Also, one Opal Jet can't do much in Sage, you would require a large fleet instead that costs a lot. With just one Opal Jet I would suggest playing UE5 client version of Star Atlas and try racing to prepare for the future activities.

Holosim is seperate from sage and will always be. See it more like a minigame within star atlas where it doesnt matter who has the most assets. Everyone starts as equal

Holosim will always be the free to play game and test environment for players. When you want to start using your assets and contribute to the economic side of things (and to earn $ATLAS) then you can move over to Starbased once you are familiar with how it works. Right now the game structure that you see in Holosim will be similar to the upcoming release in Starbased called C4.

Might sound silly, but simple fix the team could do in a UE5 match.... One of either would be AWESOME: a) show a counter of people in each region and in what games... OR b) if we dont want to show low numbers, just highlight games/regions with ANY activity... Then it would be easy for us to go where are there are peeps. 🙂

Also- Melee might need to be nerfed... at least until they can speed up our climbing obstacles... they should copy the speed of Fortnite's climbing, etc.. It hurts when you try to move from a melee situation and your character starts climbing a wall like a slug... insta dead... especially to a one or two tap melee hit... lol...

I was super impressed by the Ustur duo I was fighting last night.. they had to be on a chat.. their group tactics were on point... I had to always watch for flanking and getting stuck in cross fire.

Which is where I felt like a slug sometimes... especially if my rocket movement was expended... in 2v1 if you cant move, you are dead pretty quick.

My son plays fortnite competitively, and I tinker (cant keep up with him)... once we get to where I can convert him (not yet...) then I KNOW we have arrived. 🙂

Each release I force him to give it a try...

We are MUCH closer.. just a few refinements away I think...

FWIW- the spawn killers in there right now ruin the game.... no way to report or triage until a bigger "safe zone" on entry/spawn is there... you dont even have enough room to run away on spawn, as your movement speed is not fast enough if you spawn solo and a duo or more is just bush camping on the spawn site... no way to report, so these folks are clearly just xp farming.. Only recourse is to quit playing until they drop and try playing again later... if you have time...

That is a pretty big exploit. IMHO. especially when you cant progress to get weapons and there are real assets like crew on the line...

• Select the ships and "Deposit to Starbase"
• Go back to the "Hangar" at the CSS and form your fleet

Starfield took Bethesda 25yrs and then it turned out mediocre and they didn't even have to build any of the underlying blockchain tech which frankly ATMTA had to build first. Much of it is up and operational. Now they're building the rest. We understand that that's a long wait, but ATMTA has always said that SA is being built in iterative stages. That's not appealing to the average tradgamer, and it's the reason external reception of this project can appear mixed. Most of us have been here for 5 yrs and I can assure u, they're constantly releasing new game loops.

We have been playing for year. There are currently 3 games (UE5, SAGE and Holosim). Each of these will have incremental drops of new and updates functionality with the FULL game not being developed for years. Look into each of these and ask questions bcause each is very different and targets a unique aspect.

Holosim - F2P and you can earn some pretty nice rewards including eligibility for ZINK airdrop
SAGE - Browser game with full economics where you can earn $ATLAS (requires ships and/or crew)
UE5 - More of a test bed at this point, but you can play Shooter mode, Racing and see demos of others modules that will be rolling out soon.

if you like holosim, then Sage is the next step but you need ships for that yeah
