Ive been soaked on LP, and I thought contracts had a consistent buy/earn versus LP... thanks for any help learning about this mechanic/opportunity!

LP has to do with the pool being split up... but I dont know how FICs payout.. I know you have to find where to sell them at a local market from threads... but when i look at the pricing it is inconsistent. I thought the purpose of the FICs was to give players an alternative to the random payouts of LP (as a whale or three could seriously dilute the LP pool....).

Do they FICs payout 2 atlas per contract?

Not clear how FICs work... I see where I can BUY some from a market... why? I thought you crafted them to sell them for atlas?

The amount of mamba ex that can be crafted is limited, currently there is no mamba ex left to craft, they will probably refill the inventory that can be crafted later at some point + they might change the recipe a bit

no i dont think one would have to actually pay for it as we are already paying in a way of taxes, think about the crafting fees for each resources crafted, and thing about the cost of manpower (crew) to craft etc... all these are mechanisms at the teams disposal in order to create a sustainable economy

but if the "taxes" becomes too high in any economy people simply migrate / jump ship.

It's mostly because there is no centralized place to really learn the game

It is profitable if you spend between $500 to $1000 and have a good balance of ships and crew for crafting.

The issue is solana fees which will eat up your profit as you play, if you have a small fleet.

You can also play the racing/shooter game on Epic and earn crew packs that way, which can be sold. Individual crew members can be sold also on tensor.

That's a way to earn for free. Just spend time to grind your different character profiles.

downside on restream is 1080p only

So I am firing up UE5... I logged in, and can see my assets.. but when I click "Join Session" in experimental mode, it says I am not logged into my wallet and will get no XP... did I do something incorrect? If I am logged in and can see assets, why would I not get XP?

they changed the log in, it reads the wallet but you need to unlock it every session, also it does not like ledger however exp is directly tied to the epic account not the wallet so you can even just use an empty wallet to use the free assets to gain exp while you wait

make sure that you keep the seed phrase though

because the reward might drop to the hot wallet

I also moved a few commons and what not to a hot wallet to play with myself

Had a blast last night in the FPS UE5... but gotta admit.. the sniper rifle was WAY OP.... when you start with the pistol and AR, it really sucked to get one shotted by a Punaab (micro hit box) with an instant kill weapon (one shot snipe at close range). The AR and pistol felt like poop when fighting someone with that setup.. lol.... Obviously some work to figure out how to handle Punaabs still to go... but SUPER progress by the team, and SUPER fun...

I am also wondering how to level up weapons if the pistol and AR are trash starters...

Loved how fast the combat was... the rocket boosters definitely make the combat feel faster than a lot of FPS games out there... would love to see us put in some kind of blade weapons with a faster Melee attack.. combine that with the booster moves, and it would be SUPER fun combat...

I dont think they are trash honestly. The pistol is probably the most reliable finisher in the game

The sniper is a bit op atm. However, players have to get to level 16 before they are able to use it, almost a reward for getting there

Perhaps nerfed weapons and a WAY lower HP is the right way to nerf them... if I go with their size, biology, etc. If a six foot animal was to even stomp on a squirrel or kick a dog, it would be down for the count....

Even spraying with an AR, I could not hit them... and then blam.. one shot and I am dead.

I think the snipe is way to OP regardless of the Punaab issue... they need to probably copy fortnight on that one... so that you have to scope to have any kind of accuracy at all.... no scope is almost luck to hit someone close range unless you put in hours of practice to learn each snipes hit.. they dont even give you a target marker up close...

I dont have a snipe at all yet, so maybe it is designed this way already... all I know is it was no fun to get one shotted so much when new...

I get we want a progression mechanic, but weapons should probably not be it until we get the balancing right... that way Play is more fun and equal for everyone joining or starting... Again, fortnite nailed this when they started... they made skins and emotes the progression mechanic... it also was the monetization mechanic... A super GENIUS move for a new game in Beta.... a simple battle pass, and SA starts making serious money right away.. The genius of that play is that it also helps us fund building out graphics/assets, AND smoother/advanced movement of character assets across all other game modes... It would super charge our development efforts in a virtuous cycle... and also fund the creation of an "ingame store" like fortnite as well... .I know a lot of folks may not like fortnite, but MAN, they nailed a VERY effective business model that is still one of the best in the industy...

They got to BILLIONS in less than a few years while feilding a FREE game...

Now.. if we could just solve the ledger/XP/Wallet issue, I would be a super happy Panda! LOL...

If you would nerve the Sniper, it wouldn't make any sense to play it anymore. When you need like 2 Headshots for 1 Kill then, you can't play it against Players like Hakmer, KILLxxTHISxxGUY,...

Keep in Mind that it is the pre Alpha, so not even the Alpha Version. The Game is in Development. When we are Playing and giving Feedback to the Team #1296922448167567480 , we help them massively to develop the Game. The Crew pack are basically just an Bonus for the Pioneers, who play the Game already. (That's at least what I've read from Mod Messages)
So even bad Feedback is good Feedback, because they can improve Things. But please don't judge the Game for a bad Ballancing or Bugs, report them in the Forum, the devs will take care about.

It's not no scope. It is quick scoping. No scope you hit 1 out of 100 shots 😂

But only with sniper. What you wanna do is set sprint on toggle. Only use scoping (for Ar, pistol, scout rifle) when you are in ranged combat. Close combat you wanna walk around, to make it harder to hit you and shoot without scoping in close range. When you face a Sniper, don't scope at him because then you are dead, keep up movement and try to get in close combat (using slide, dash and short hovers) when you hover to the Sniper you are also dead.

You can play UE5 for crew cards. In about 2 months when C4 launches you can earn "black goo" in UE5 which you can sell to Starbased players.

Holosim is f2p and will have mainnet rewards probably in the next 3-4 months.

But best to start Holosim now so you know what you are doing.

And yeah, Starbased is traditional play2earn but closer to play2own. Rewards are pretty damn good though.
