Just giving holosim a go, setup as a new user... I think it's too easy to deviate awya from the tutorial when getting started. Might be better if you're forced to do a certain amount before you get lost in the depths of the control panel and map... And then you forget how to even progress onto the first step

Also, mission one where it says my first quest is to click on the CSS. I did that but it doesn't register I did that so I can't do the next quest to form a fleet

Not only should it work but maybe the UI should light up to indicate that I did the quest... it so I actually know I did it

This is most likely a time sync issue with your PC. Check your time settings, make sure they are proper. If so, restart your computer to sync time, or do it manually from settings. Then hard refresh your browser and you should be good to go.

I have a serious concern with holosim,I think it would be much simpler if the team focused on making Starbased a fun, engaging game with easy onboarding, exciting visual effects, and solid combat mechanics. Instead, they created a new free-to-play game, hoping to eventually pivot those players to the crypto-based Starbased. This feels like a waste of resources and a misstep. It’s concerning that the team doesn’t seem to prioritize developing Starbased into a genuinely enjoyable game first, rather than spreading efforts across a new project that may not even work well

Could the dao be used to re pivot there priorities? 🤔

I’m only in mud not the other two. Rome is the largest outspokenly aggressive guild so I’m inclined to make peace with ustur to the extent needed to limit Oni expansion. It is true that I’d prefer a relatively balanced map between the factions, but that has more to do with user sentiment and retention than rewards. The best thing for rewards would be to be in the most dominant faction. Unless council rank was overly restrictive and it pushed users to multi account. Then one in each faction with balance would be optimal.

Any resource management game that involves supply chains has automation, I do agree that it is frustrating to have to go to 3rd parties for what I think should be inherent features of the game, but it's what we have atm, and i'm glad at least we have it. Did you try to go through with it anyway? Several transactions in Sage do that, and it works.

Try disabling priority fees inside the Sage config. Also, it could possibly be an UI delay, and your fleet already undocked. Happens sometimes too.

Try looking at your fleet on Eveeye

It usually works to use it to get things "unstuck".

If the crew is imported in Sage, it was sent to your Sage player profile account (if you are familiar with Eveeye, you can find it by setting settings/general/show solana addresses and then the address will be in profiles/your profile/ the third address Sage:xxxx)

so after sleeping on it a bit the 100x map of c4 from starbased with claimstakes and combat creating more complex supply chain loops, the need to have ships on standby, the fact that ships are going to be spending time respawning etc should actually constrict the ship market and even push the largest whales into places where they can't be everywhere all at once without making themselves easy targets - I don't think that the claim stake economy will dilute ships at all

When I have problems with rentals I either rented it to a stupid multiple profile on accident or starbase ui sucks … so I use eve eye or atom to run fleets. I don’t do sage manually or I would be bald and would have to buy a new computer after destroying it
