they are doing better then that, they are using their own sol mirror to have a free game that has a seprate economy to help people learn how to play sage and get exp that I think is supposed to transfer at some level to sage

hopefully there is a way to actually earn a fleet or something to transfer over to sage so we have a full ftp path in but we might need to do a pip for that

or wait for more ue5 dev

I like the idea of launching separate systems, but also think it can lead to increased dilution. That full ftp path you mentioned is what's missing in my mind. Would be cool to be able to speak to the devs and whoever is managing their economy

To me it seems like there are a lot of missed opportunities here on that front. You need to increase user count for sustained volume and that doesn't happen without mass adoption

That's ideal scenario tbh. If they're just sitting on it and have ftp content to show, that could get a lot of natural engagement going leading up to the release of the full game this year

But again, you still need real sinks for a token to actually garner value. A FTP system w/ R4 expenditures could give a ton of small transaction volume and increase liquidity

Then that gives you stability and more interest from larger investors with lower risk thresholds

3- Almost everything will be build in Game. Starbases, weapons, ships, all the resources that we need must be produced. Team not selling everything. You are the provider. Or consumer.

Yes it does. And it will expand more and more in time. More resources to mine, more reciepes to craft. Example we have 2 digits raw resources in economy right now. We will have over 100 resources. This depth is massive. I have never seen that before not in Web3. In Web2 too.

Games like World of Warcraft have hundreds if not thousands of resources and recipes too. I don't think that's impressive per se. The game changer will be using decentralized crypto for transactions instead of a fictional currency controlled by the developer. That's why I've been cautious with Solana. I do have a sol wallet, but I'm skeptical of how decentralized they actually are

Not to bash on Star Atlas obviously. I've been following Star Atlas in the background for years. They're one of few projects that are still around and have been building for years

I'm curious to see if Solana will have outages again during the next altseason

Basically, if you want to mine, get a mining fleet of some sort, some crew to process it, and a freighter to move it. Then you can mine/craft/sell.

You could avoid getting crew or frieghters and just saw raw as well, just mine and sell

Don't listen to jindo on this. Armstrong ships are good but mamba ex are roughly 1.75x more efficient at mining due to current price point. And I'm the #1 holder of Armstrong ships.

Mamba ex can also scale into combat when it comes in a few months.

Star Atlas Golden Era (SAGE for short) is the web browser game where all the crypto / play2earn stuff is happening for now. It's a strategy / 4X game with a virtual economy where you mine, craft, upgrade starbases, etc. The game can be quite expensive in Solana fees so there is a minimum investment to really be able to make money out of it. Probably in the range of 500 to 1000$ minimum to get started.

Then there is Star Atlas, the 3D game with flying/shooting/exploring, etc... developped in Unreal Engine 5 and available on the Epic Game Store. No earning there yet and you can play for free. #🔑┃game-access-key

Eventually there will be ways to earn in the UE5 game, special ressources you can find, PvP tournaments, selling skins, discovering secret locations and such.

Capitals and above should be the same level of OP you see when that Star Destroyer spawns in game... folks feel panic, fear, and RUN! LOL... I think what is epic or great in the FN approach is that the armada does not even spark the fear... the fact that so many guns and bombs start flying, you are toast unless you can get to the air fast or underground... Large and above vehicles should not be dependant on singular direction weapon fire... they should be a full nuke, terrifying folks... even a Capital should be terrifying to behold and spark you up to run... If a Commander or above shows up, you would not even wait for a support fleet to emerge.. you should just run... as smalls, mediums, etc. are toast...

the catch is enough medium and small ships will be able to avoid taking a lot of damage from the bigger ships, now doing damage to the bigger ships won't be easy, note star wars is all about the little guy wreaking the star destroyer but the fear is not being ready or the fact that its not traveling alone
