The first day I received 193 Atlas and I thought it was a proportional part of the day and the next day I would receive the full amount. But the second day I received 120 Atlas. Even less! I made a comment yesterday in the DAO channel. True to my word I am bring to the attention of the entire community the absolute NEED for all of us to be involved. Currently there is a very important PIP that concerns everyone in the way that the future of DAO Council elections are administrated. It is currently in voting process and I feel very strongly that everyone with a stake should at least read it. If you do not want to vote you don't have to however there is an "Abstain" choice, which puts your PVP in the pool and counts it. That increases the activity in the DAO and shows anyone thinking about joining and is concerned about the Governance of Star Atlas that there is a level of activity. It also helps add to the necessity of others being involved. I am asking that everyone with a stake in the DAO also become involved.

It depends on how much you are willing to spend. The arc costs twice as much as a bitboat, but if you use it in subwarp it carries the same amount of fuel as a bitboat, the difference is almost imperceptible... consuming a small difference in fuel more at the expense of the bitboat (obviously very low) a completely different story in warp, the bitboat cannot stand the comparison

Thanks! according the the result a fleet's mining rate is set to the sum of mining rates of the ships that have the best mining rate in the fleet. So those 3 Pearce-X4 will just increase the cargo hold and will not affect the mining rate.

right now the txn fees add up and eat all profits

FWIW- I stayed away from automation for a LONG time... but now I realize how much profit I lost doing so... Also- playing w/o automation is WAY to tactical.. I think Sage REALLY became a game for me once I used automation.. as then I had time to strategize and plan with "living" assets that were moving and doing things... until then, Sage was a clicking grind... All that being said, grinding the hard way does help you wrap your head around the game a bit better I think than if you just jumped right into automation...

and 20% is the upper limit from the numbers that I have seen, odds are were not even hitting 15% on average

honestly for me its the tx fees blowing up and the rpc issues that come with the higher network and the fact that I have a weird legal set up thats preventing me from automating (I need everything I use to have audits because of how I might need to answer to the gov and the gov has 0 actual understanding of tech)

When i try to cancel, it says there was an error cancelling the rental. I am wondering if it really is just a 1 day rental and a UI issue? Anyone else having issues like this?

and again it should have created an escrow for the amount so even if it is registering at 7 days it should only burn through the escrow then revert so any extra time you get the fleet for beyond whats set up via the escrow you should not be responsible for

so check to see how much atlas was set aside for that

Which was 1 day's rent

It did it via 2 transactions that were simultaneous though FWIW

Fleet rental has a bug were renters are getting like 8 free days for every day they paid for so escrow is only paying out like 1/8 of what it should be. They have been trying to fix it for three day now.

Nowadays, it's been really hectic with the norm having 4-7 (or more) fleets in a normal sector (20-30% probability) and honestly, that's getting more difficult to land a strike. The sectors gets depleted so fast that it goes into low single digits probabilities (and the regen rate is not that fast). I'm really hoping there could be some map expansion so that people will spread out and not cram into a spot.

It's working for me. I've had a similar issue before though and that's when I changed the DNS in my router to use Cloudflare's by default. (1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 as secondary) Never had it happen again afterwards. The ISP-provided DNS servers can be crappy sometimes.
