You don't need toolkits to fly your ships, so you don't need to buy them. For ammo, food and fuel should be enough for start. There is a tool you can use to calculate how much resources will be required by specific ships/fleets to fly around, mine and scan. You can play around with different ship configurations in it in the custom fleets menu:

say you want to mine cargo, you look at the food, ammo required to full.

Can someone explain the logic to me if fuel cost .001019 at CSS location and it takes Time (an hour) and fuel (expense) to travel to another system to sell fuel at .0016 but somehow people sell it for .0012 so far away from CSS; How is this logical in trying to make money in the game?

Depends on what the nearest Hydrogen source is. MRZ has Hydrogen at 2X the mining amounts compared to CSS so you can mine/craft double the amount in the same time. Transport is also not an hour if you WAPR depending on ships. Some people can move 500K plus fuel in a single trip so you can;t compare one Fleets efficiency to another unless they are Apples to Apples comparison.

The point in not having to travel back to CSS for fuel is to save time and money not hauling your own fuel. but the convenience should not be close to the same price as CSS location, that is just logical business sense. sellers need to adjust prices for the convenience

In case of ONI your fuel station is MRZ-25, not CSS. Let us say you want fuel on ONI-3. It is twice as cheap to mine the hydro on MRZ-25 turning it into fuel is more or less the same depending on food supply in the stations (maybe CSS is a bit faster without food supply). Let say that makes it 1.8 cheaper to produce the fuel on MRZ-25 just as am example.

The distance between ONI CSS and ONI-3 is 10au and MRZ-25 to ONI-3 is 13.9 AU so it is about 0.4 more expensive to haul the fuel from MRZ-25 to ONI-3.

If you want to have a competitive price of fuel on the local market in ONI-3 then the price should be lower than the fuel you buy on CSS, otherwise the buyers might consider mining their own fuel at MRZ-25.

Cannot check fuel prices in ONI local markets right now, but I think this is the general idea on why fuel is cheaper in deeper space than CSS

It is just a Cost thing, If you open 100 crew packs and send them directly to SAGE it is just the one transaction fee. If you open them to your wallet you have to transfer them one at a time so you will have a lot more transaction fees.

Discord not letting me share image. What I get on my screen is a hanger that is almost all black missing floor panels. Not console to click on. its an ongoing bug with the old profiles
first of all dont take any direct messages scammers watching and will target you
C:\Users"yourwindowsprofilename"\AppData\Local\StarAtlas\Saved\SaveGames go there and delete or cut and backup the profiles,
otherwise you have to reimport your wallet after every login
after deleting the old profiles on your next login just create a new profile and import your wallet again
after that everything should work normal again

Looking at the past 15 months or so with labs/sage when things go wrong or get clunkier:

• sometimes is Solana
• sometimes is the RPC
• sometimes is starcomm
• Sometimes... who knows.

But there are patterns. Having a strategy to properly inform users if sage is running ok or not would greatly improve the UX.

What I feel is that having this info spread out on #general between memes and whatnot (this is what general is here for, please keep on with the memes) doesn't seam like the appropriate place. This info should be universally accessible to anyone playing sage, so having it on Foundation Room is not the answer as well.

There is no easy solution to solve this problem in this early stage where things change so quickly and new issues sprout up constantly.

We are in pre-pre Alpha. we are in a very very early stages on design on many things. Over time more and more things will get stable and consistent. Unfortunately OR fortunately we will be a loud community helping each other until we get there.

The UI changes very often. Only today I found more things that got broken by the fix that was released.

We already have a dedicated in game notification system. As I was eluding before, the issue was fixed before we had time to make an announcement or activate the notification banner, which is automated to activate on known issues. Sometimes unexpected things break, and there isn't much we can do about it except fix it asap.

It would have taken the same amount of time to manually go in and activate the banner as it did to push the fix.

FYI. I had an issue where I attempted to open my crew pack directly to Sage. Received a message of taking to long and I could no longer see my crew pack under the Crew tab. However I could see the crew Pack in my wallet.
