Seems like any resource that is classed as a "certificate" due to a purchase or cancelled order in local market, is not able to be loaded, or used atm. I have opened a ticket regarding this issue, i would advise anyone with this issue to do the same, to raise awareness on the issue.

it would be an intermittent issue, as any resources you might have that never interacted with local markets, would technically not have this issue.

so as an example, if you put up a sell order in a local market for 100k ammo, but then decided you wanted to cancel the order. and let's say you had on top of that ammo you were trying to sell, another 400k ammo in your inventory. What would happen upon cancelling the order is that you would now have 2 SPL tokens. You would have 100k ammo certificate tokens, and 400k ammo tokens (even though your inventory UI will just show 500k ammo). Upon trying to use the resource again, it seems to prioritize using the certificate tokens instead of the actual token, this is likely where the issue is happening.

it seems like they are perhaps trying to change how something works on the backend, it's possible that in the future, all we have is certificate tokens to work with. But my logical mind says that if that were the case, then they should be prioritizing the actual resource token instead of the certificate, it might have been a human error, but not sure. it could just be by design, and i'm completely wrong. lol

FWIW, if you're a small player, the whale is your biggest friend. just sell to the whale and be happy. The main problem is all the small players comparing, and trying to compete against the whale, you cannot compete. All you can do is try to increase your market share of the pie by playing smart. Took me awhile to get this mindset, but the more people that have this mindset, the better off everyone will be.

There is a known bug, due to how the backend deals with local markets, where if you interacted with the local markets on a certain resource, it can cause that resource to not be usable.

There are a couple of workarounds, one namely being to remove any open orders you might have on that local marketplace.

I can empathize with that sentiment. It's maybe not that dire in reality. For example, my transactions might take an extra minute or two because I use minimal fees, but they are still going through.

If you're trying to do anything manually right now, it's going to be brutal. It's either expensive or slow. Personally, I'm ok with slow for SAGE. I interact with it as more of a strategy game. A couple extra minutes here and there doesn't heavily impact what I'm trying to do.

But this is also not the "always" state of things. This is sort of the "worst case", and even then it works.

It is understandable. Unfortunately you have selected a pretty bad period to start with SLY. I can confirm for you that during "normal" times the combo works very well. If you have a reasonable size fleet, you will get good returns. I know as early adopters/ alpha testers/users we have to suffer through a lot of stuff. This is not for every one. @solid dagger if you do not empty your cargo compeltely and leave 1 unit for that resource you do not delete the rent account. This way in next loop you will not be charged the rent because it already exist. pro-tip. 🙂

Keystone is a great option. Down sides are it's a little more difficult to use than ledger and it requires solflare to work where we have some native ledger support.

Benefits are that it doesn't have the ability to share your private key like ledger does, and it supports multiple wallets at a time.

SDU is the ultimate bottleneck. It's the only soft capped resource in the game. Chris has probably a curve drawn for how the entire economy revolves around it. We could be mining all we wanted, with all ships from Score. It would only dilute every resource into itself, because the only lever that has a resemblance of a gaming mechanic is SDU. No wonder they upped the limit in each sectir by 20% before ICs went live.
