2. Roughly account for fuel cost in subwarping back to CSS (this uses largest fleet costs)

At some point in the future we can modify these numbers dynamically based on your actual fleet. Or at least specifically for respawn fees. The new system accounts for fleet configuration in determining tow-back time

If I were to guess based on the data we have, 100% is the maximum chance of collection and also the maximum resources you can get in abundance from a sector.
If before, 100% = 1000 SDUs, this means that 1%=10 SDUs of maximum collection capacity.
So if now 100% = 1200 SDUs, that means 1%=12 SDUs of maximum collection capacity.
Taking this as a basis, small players with collection fleets of 145 ships needed to stay at points with at least 14.5% to have maximum efficiency. Now they reach the same efficiency in points with 12.1%.
In practice, this doesn't change much for the small, but it helps a lot for larger collections that were limited to approximately 400 SDUs, as it is very difficult to find constant collection points higher than this range to achieve maximum efficiency.
Therefore, points with 40% would previously give you 400 SDUs and now they give you 480, a very significant increase.
Another factor is that with an increase in the total capacities of the sectors, it is likely that the % will also become slightly higher and will remain higher for longer.
Of course, this is all speculation and we will have to do the tests, but I believe it is more or less along these lines of thought.

it does help with the tx issues as well due to the same amount of ships being able to be consolidated into less fleets

There is a variable that impacts the total maximum amount of SDUs that can be found on a sector space in a certain period of time. This number has increased from 1000 to 1200. @little obsidian is the mastermind behind the SDU mechanic so he might be able to add some additional details. But at the end of the day, the purpose of this change is to increase the amount of SDUs found by 20%.

ie larger fleets means less overall fleets per player

just a quick chime in - this is mostly accurate. Although on a micro-level, slightly "larger" fleets (e.g. higher fleet SDU/scan) will be a bit more productive since their output won't be clamped as often.

assuming people are consistently draining the "good" SDU tiles, it should increase the global SDU production, although it may require slightly more participants

atlas prime doesn't work with respawn. Make sure that the wallet TX is not givin an error. Otherwise you need to refresh, and try the tx until the wallet doesn't show an error. sometimes i would cancel the tx (via the wallet) and try again until no error.

you can also try clicking on a different starbase, then back to the CSS. that sometimes resets fleet status and you can respawn then.

if your refering to labs (not based) then its depreciated if you want any of your stuff thats there you need to remove it, starbased is going to be the game id for a while (if were lucky there will be no changing game ids anymore)

could be a display error, 1 only blow up if you have to, it costs more to re=spawn then you will save in fuel, now if you do need to re-spawn check the time that it would take to subwarp back to the css and set a timer for that as the timers are likely not working right yet
