How do I get access to my crew that I just got from a pack? I selected the option to transfer them directly to sage, but how do it use them now as I cannot find them in the crew quarters or in my starbase inventory

with 39 taps costing 958 each, mining hydrogen at the CSS. ROI is approximately 49.45%. This is with hydrogen at .000269 and atlas 0.00301.

I havent used these spreadsheets in awhile so their could be a bug so I'd run some own calculations yourself to confirm.

Also keep in the mind this is the most BASIC gameloop. Once you had transports in and mine something like Carbon the ROI is generally higher.

generally all mining ships have similar ROI but if you want to convert to a different mining ship you can use these numbers.

Working day and night with Triton on fixing these cNFT issues, hopefully completely resolved soon. They rebuild their indexes regularly all the time so it should usually resolve within 1-2 days right now.

cNFT data resides in merkle trees and these trees get corrupted because of the massive amount of changes going on to them. (since we released crew, we kinda broke it) They can rebuild the trees and then everything is 'valid', but after a short while the corruption occurs again and users will get errors like the one you have.

there's #1151617125631393992 though I think the visual/control stuff is known. The UE5 that you're testing out is essentially a sandbox. The next major update is supposed to introduce more gameplay elements. However, it's still not "connected" to progression at this point.

So we've got UE5 as the sandbox to explore, see some ships, test out some controls, etc, but no progression yet. Then we've got SAGE (the browser-based sim) which is not as visually appealing, but which does have progression (accumulate resources and XP).

At some point, these two concepts will link and merge into one cohesive game.

If you downloaded the game from the epic game store, you're seeing exactly what everyone sees.

The approach Star Atlas is taking is much like Star Citizen's. Iterative releases with real gameplay still years away - I recommend you come back in 3 - 5 years if you're not looking to invest early.

I don't think that does any good. You will simply have to wait for the RPC providers to rebuild their index. The person answering the ticket will likely say the same. If it lasts more than 3-4 days, a ticket may be warranted.

I've read more than you think. I know POLIS is a domination token but still the highest demand utility is the in game, transactional token which is ATLAS. Even if POLIS has power over ATLAS' treasury and inflation, all the value is away from POLIS token if it's not used to purchase POLIS tokens from the market.

in a nutshell, current POLIS utility is locking it to gain voting power and stake in the DAO governance, which will eventually become the autonomous steering wheel that guides game development direction in the future.

If you hold ATLAS, it's like holding any other currency. If you hold POLIS, you hold a piece of the game.

RPC 2.0 is being built by Triton. Should be released this year.

RPPcs are basically non voting validators but they require more powerful hardware then a validator. Rpc 2.0 will help to decouple rpcs from the validator software so hopefully it will be much much cheaper to run one.

I can also see where because we have attributes, you will want to make sure you save crew that map to the crew needed to power each ship...

I finally dove into StarBased ya’ll, and I had a few questions for you regular players.. 

Is it worth more LP to turn in Food at the CSS as opposed to Mud4 since you can mine Biomass right at Mud4?

Also, it seems like Mud4 is only in need of SDUs at the moment, so I’m not sure what good it would do to supply food there, just for the sake of LP? Unless I’m missing something..

sometimes i try to mess with lp, but its super complicated to calculate rewards, depends on the lp pool atlas price transport and craft/mining costs

so many factors and each ship is different

you need a good spreadsheet

on eveye there is some tools to calculate things

food is "a cost of buisness" thing. This is how manny atlas you will lose for every 1m food you commit to base if you compare it with x2 biomass market price

in current game composition you need mid+/big balanced fleet with crew+mining+transport to be able to earn with LP system, if you don`t have it - try to check ship crafting/selling raw/components on marketplace

I have a pretty balanced, small to midsize fleet with mining, transport, and crafting capabilities. Right now I'm running a pretty simple operation at Mud4 - mining Bio mass and crafting to food at the Mud4 SB.

I'm gonna try supplying food for a couple epochs and see how the returns work out in comparison to Faction Fleet, which I think they will be greater than that for sure.
