I just feel like 41X more is too much, and ultimately makes crafting/transporting and scanning out of balance, it's weird that it takes 172 Million Star Atlas or (686,052.00$!) worth of SDU just to upgrade 1 station to level 4, but it "only" takes 19 Million for the other components (73,644.00$). This is not even close to 50/50 SDU's were used to be at least with RFR's, but the change of this strategy was not known to me.

This wouldn't be a much of a problem, unless you consider in that now crafters and freighters have to wait until the upgrade is complete, so more orders start popping in, all lvl 2 stations were quickly filled in to full, which appears to show 42%, which assumes devs still think that it should be around 50 to 50, but the SDU have barely been scratched.

I had the same issue... do you know how to remove the "dummy" profile? Right now, I play in a private window on Brave to select the correct account. Only work around I know, as the team is not likely build a solution for this anytime soon...

At scale I can see where this will slow down everything... as I am generating a lot more load on SA resources and muddying their analytics by doing so...

In cloud, bad code costs more money to run... lol.. as you are paying based on consumption of resources... so this does cost the team money at scale.. depends on how many people are doing the same thing I am of course...

Is there a reason why the fee is high only when you receive mining ore in particular?

There is not much difference between the amount and fee that my fleet with 136,000 cargo capacity can receive by converting it into LP.

problem here is you do not get the upgrade when the upgrade finishes, but you get the upgrade when you click finish. So if you leave it overnight for 8 hours and someone else finishes in the meantime your upgrade is wasted ( you do get the components returned still ).

So in order to adapt you will need to:

1. Be extremely careful when you see an upgrade that is close to finished
2. If you see one closed to finished check eveeye for that sb and currently running jobs. It is possible that someone already started one and is about to finish.
3. If someone already started and about to finish you can try to mess with his job by trying to put faster job that will finish before that.

Point 3 should be avoided as your are messing with your own guild that way. But since we are currently in LP upgrade wars you need to check if said players is actually from your guild then you can decide to block him. This could be achieved by a large player or many small players that have the resources and are able to coordinate and probably sac their profits

you can nuke large players too. Example:

1. Large players commits to a single job for the upgrade that finishes in 8 hours and will finish the upgrade. Let say it needs 2000 to finish and said player commits 1500
2. You do not upgrade the whole thing, just enough so the large player job is now over the necessary resources for the upgrade. Let say you commit only 600 and are able to finish before the 8 hours for the large player.

the fact is even a 3 hour lock would be detrimental to someone like bodhi who needs just about every second to be able to get the lp out

however a 3 hour lock would not do all that much to someone trying to sell on the market

the ideal would still be local markets as that would remove the need to remove stuff from the game to sell it

it would also keep more resources in house so that each faction is more reliant on its own efforts

currently we are only mining at asteroid fieds. So when you stop mining you will be charged that amount of fuel per fleet. It does not matter if you have filled the cargo or not, this is a flat amount changed per mining action for each ship in the fleet.

If I want to only bring to Starbase no issues usually. But if you want to simultaneously bring to Target and to Starbase causes stupid conflicts. Loops of dock and undock and other illogical errors.

I need kind of logically manipulate this to be able to avoid those conflict patterns. I need to fill all fuel tank and load the exact amount of the material I want to transport and undock and then subwarp. Then I reload tge page (since it’s subwarp I’m still in the same base as stated on lab assistant) so no problems. And then starts working good. When it comes back does everything for itself until it needs to be fueled again causes conflicts.

Needs this little manual push at the beginning otherwise it will not work. Strange patterns

So I believe the issue it’s die to refuel while at the same tine needs to load the specific material you want to transport. That’s why there is no issues to transport to starbase only. Because when it gets to starbase only unloads and refuels. But if you need to transport to the target as well, in the starbase it will try to refuel and load at the same time
