You need a key. If you staked in Faction fleet at some point, you should have some on your https://play.staratlas.com profile. Log in there, go to your profile, and check game codes. If you do not have any, shoot off a message in #archived-key-requests to request one.

Then, get on Epic Games, redeem your code, and download Star Atlas. Once you get it downloaded, you will need to enter your private key or seed phrase to the wallet you want to access in game. The file is stored local and encrypted. Then log in and go to town!

So curious what happened.. last night I put some crew and Electronics in to be used to upgrade MUD2... there was plenty of food and toolkits to complete, and it appeared it would be 5 hours for the job to complete and for me to get LP..

just checked, and it looked like my materials were accepted....

but.. no LP...

I checked and my inventory has the electronics...

Feedback... Having played SB for 2 weeks I'm still amazing SB has been allowed to see daylight.... Wondering if they even played the game themselves... Don't get me wrong have been here since the beginning and love the idea/concept... but have currently withdrawn all my ships from SB... this version isn't worth the effort of playing yet unless you're a mathematician with a whole lot of patience and free time. It lacks appealing engagement, takes to much time and there're way to many dependencies in game and on Solana as well. Other than that the economy groundwork hasn't been thought through deep enough as in is this a FUN and engaging experience. SA team needs also to realize that a real economy with yield from 10-20% per year (and way higher is also possible) in CT already exists with doing absolutely nothing. It is highly questionable that SB will be adopted easily this way. Threshold needs to be way lower and more appealing. Other than that I do recognize the team has come from afar .. but still has a long way to go, to pull this one of. Waiting for more fun, rewarding and engaging times. LFG!

Any project that is yielding super high returns is not built to last, that is the truth. You are right, the game is not super engaging yet, but we will get there. The way it is in its current state is not a final release by any means, we are just privileged to be testing a game in active development, and making money along the way. If you feel you are not benefiting from it, and you no longer want to test the game, then taking a break is a good idea. I myself did that for about a year, and it was super refreshing when I got back to see all the improvements that were made.

The Surge thing is a fantastic addition... but yeah... I am VERY frustrated with based right now... I have spent 10 days to try to get it going consistently without automation tools "as designed" by the team.... I will try with the SLY tools and see if I can get it going.. so that will be 12 days of next to no earnings... If that doesnt work, and the econ doesnt start to get going (food, etc. in bases, consistant and dependable way to earn LP, etc.) then I will go with a lower but CONSISTANT and DEPENDABLE earning from SCORE until based matures...

SURGE I am all in on playing, though I still think a LEFTY designed the UI.. LOL.. the reticle of a FPS should always be dead center of screen with the skin/character to either the left or right of center... this is the only game I have seen where the character is center and the reticle is off center... lol.. so dialing in the aim is tough... lol...

One thing that might be helpful at this stage, if you are struggling with what to do in game that might be most profitable for your fleet configuration, is to join a guild (or at least align yourself with the objectives of a bigger guild), as they will help you in those areas.

As a more solo player myself, I love doing those maths myself, and finding the little secret profit making strategies that maybe nobody else is doing

All in all starbased is not perfect but I am amazed with the progress the team is making and just a fact that playing a game you can actually make money is amazing.

you won't need another code, just make sure you turn on background updates and leave epic games running in the background a day before the surge event. Team might push another version and it might take some time to download and install so you can do that just in case in order to be ready to join surge event as soon as possible
