Why when I transfer a resource from CSS to another station Solana, which is taken as a deposit is not returned?

if you empty the css and put it on a ship to move the token account transfers to the ship

creating a net 0

if you don't empty the css the ship would need to create a new token account, that would then transfer to the next station

effectivly the only time token accounts refund is if the receving end already has the account oppen

meaning you need a lot of sol available to play, with most of it just floating around in open token accounts that 75% of will close when you exit out

so the thing is that it is not returned to me when I unload it, in v2 it was returned, in starbase I haw problem with it.

I flew 8 times, completely unloaded the resource and never once was the deposit returned to me, they just took a new one

it works the exact same way, once both ends have the account open when you offload it from the ship you will see it get returned

otherwise its just moving around

if the ship empties it into another starbase but that starbase does not have the resource yet the token account shifts to the starbase, on the second trip with the same resource you will see it refund

so yes this takes a lot of sol to set up but once its up its almost net 0

I think this is a very valid suggestion. There is no need to push these changes out right now with all the issues people are having. I don't think people mind if they need to keep their assets in score/faction claims for a while longer while the issues get fixed. But it's not a good look to kill the productivity of those assets when people don't even have the possibility of withdrawing them and deploying them to starbased.

The fact that hiring a $49/month RPC private plan fixes pretty much everything when using the Assistant gives a "hint" at where the problem is... RPCs are FUBAR, and pretty much every SA problem stems from it. Solana is a mess, RPC is bringing that mess to next level. I don't think we'll see any significant improvement until scanning mechanics change, because it will unload the public RPCs used by Based/Marketplace/Faction Fleet.

It absolutely sucks to be stuck, trust me (I still am, finally almost done...).

They are working on it, constantly. It's a bad situation for everyone.

One very important aspect that kept me sane during this past month: even though it's a bad moment, look back and compare the state of development now as opposed to 1 month ago. And keep going back.
It shows how much the project is robustly evolving, with 1 important aspect: all ships are increasing im value. This is significant.

It's good sol is facing these issues - the more reasons to develop and scale for the future . The timing sucks for SA for sure .

the fact that the sol team is activly doing things to move away from needing priority fees to handle congestion is why sol is the superior chain

they could have thrown in the towel and become the next eth just as easily

yes, they definitely are. 6 months ago I didn't know what an RPC is xD

combo seems to be ok. Some failed tx, but not a lot. And ok-ish fees, if it's too high then just decline and wait a few minutes and try again.
