At this time we have the Star Atlas UE5 first private version, is on the Epic Games Store and is currently on release 2.1.9. In this release, all ships are flyable, even in their clay model phase. To play the game you need a key to redeem in Epic's store, which you get by having a ship in stake for 7 days, but if you don't have it we can offer you a key. Other features currently in-game include: timed race courses, flight combat training, multiplayer testing, and an experimental mode that lets players view levels and characters that are still in development.
For Star Atlas 2.2, the major feature update coming will be combat racing. Compete against 7 other racers in a racing death match to see who's really the best pilot in Galia. Coming alongside this major update is progression, new characters, increased customization and more!

Turns out the congestion is happening BEFORE the scheduler, via the QUIC protocol. And Solana has actively been tackling that the last week. They have released 3-4 new versions in March.

One question, when will multirole ships start playing their role as multirole? As the original design was, they should do everything but with less effectiveness. In the current state of the game, they should mine without needing ammo but less than miners, they should scan without needing Toolkits but find fewer SDUs. Agree. It was an exageration. There will definitely be a use for them, but not a gate like in RFR crafting now. It will just be another input into Starbase upgrades like any other.

I read several team members mentioning crafting. I doubt SDU would vanish as it is. As long as there's need for it in crafting, it will always have a place. Although it really needs a revamp, both in how it's obtained, and also how much it weighs in all recipes. RFR did a good job on that, compared to all ship recipes.

SDU miners aren't very good at economics it seems. Right now selling an SDU at .008 even as SOL fees go up. It seems to me a very easy adjustment to sell them for more as they cost more to gather.

In turn, people who manufacture ships would charge more and the overall understanding of the value of ships would be somewhere closer to origination prices. We are still FAR below that point.

it's not team's fault. It's solana. Your transactions are being front-run by people who pay higher fees. Phantom sets high priority fees by default so that wallet works better than solflare at the moment. Also make sure priority fees are turned on in LABS settings. Spam transactions if necessary, eventually it'll go through.

also, SAGE 3D seems to work better for me, but I could be wrong.
