Sometimes takes a little while to stop.
Sometimes it says "mining stopped" but UI/Screen still shows mining.

V2 is iffy on my Mobile, just black screens or back to homepage. And thats Phantom.
V1 way more stable on mobile.
Mobile Solflare is not good on v1 or v2.
PC v1 and v2 reasonable, a lot of restarts and ctrl f5 at times.
When things are really bad I go back to the Mobile/Phantom/v1 setup.
Im sure Starbased will be different, dunno if better or worse different though 🙏🤣

For RFR, de-bundle depositing. Make it manual, we do it one by one. Sucks, but removes the dependancy on a train of transactions to succeed for it to start. It worked previously, won't anymore, not with Solana congested.

Solana is not God. If everyone has low fee and high tps it will eventually become congested as more users use it. What do you really expect here? Solana is still very usable but developers and dapps need to evolve. Devs didn't need to code retries and priority fees before they were focused on building and not error checking. Now they do. It's taking some time for everyone to roll this out.

And from a gameplay/ blockchain perspective it's time to rethink game mechanics based on the blockchain. SDU scanning was a terrible game mechanic for many reasons but #1 reason is on chain tx. We shouldn't be spamming Solana "just because we can" when there is 1000 other routes to take.

RFR Crafting work around:

After you start the RFR craft, it only deposits a few items right? And then fails. you can then deposit MORE items. But people were having issues because it would only deposit the additional items for 1 RFR worth.

So the work around is you go back to the RFR recipe tab, enter the original amount into the recipe box, then go back to the instance tab and deposit again, and it deposits the additional recipes worth of items.

you may have to repeat this several times but you it allows you to deposit all of the items and eventually craft the RFR.

SDU Scanners: Use at least 10,000 lamports when scanning with priority fees if you are using Labs Assistant.

(DYOR, Test and report back!)

EDIT: Make sure and use V2 2.0.48. Use phantom. Use priorty fees in game. But you may need to toggle off and use phantom priority fees for the final tx.

There is some insulation from volatility once you are established as you are surviving in a ecosystem relative to itself. IE: If you have a ship that you paid 10k Star Atlas for.. SA could drop to 5k Value and you still have your ship. Transaction fees can be an issue if Star Atlas doesn't pace with Solana going up, but they do typically move together.
