While I really do appreciate the community making us all bot tools & ensuring that they are open sourced.
I would bet that less than 2% of people compiled their own code and a much smaller percentage even took a glance at the code.

I always think back to this free open source League of Legends bot that was available in a community I was involved in, it was regularly updated but nobody actually checked the code, compared versions, etc.

Long story short eventually one of the updates was malicious and hundreds of accounts got stolen.
If something similar was to happen It wouldn't be a reasonable expectation to expect any form of reimbursement. 😅

Personally, I am waiting for proposals and voting to go live so we can raise a proposal of commissioning some official Star Atlas bots with regular security audits.

Again, I have nothing but the deepest of respect for the SA botting community, but I am all too aware of the risks involved.
