Depending on your country's tax laws, you may only need to report specific events. For example, you may only need to report "disposal" events. Which means you need to account for the "aquire" event to establish your cost, then the disposal event to establish your gains/losses.

And depending on LIFO/FIFO the cost basis gets calculated

i have not much data since the priority fee implementation, its still cheap, just if you scan for sdu it adds up quick, maybe you mean solana token accounts? copy pasta -> everything is a solana txn 0.000005, except solana token account creation, these are 0.02, but you get the token accounts back as soon you close them, its an automated process, so as soon you interact with any asset it creates token accounts, same goes for fleets and cargo
so each time you transport or mine things, cargo token accounts get created for your fleet these usually get closed when you unload, but when you disband a fleet a message will pop up in the starbase that you have open cargo accounts when you press it you get the solana token/renting account fees back

Let's say you made 2 purchases and 1 swap back to USDC/FIAT

2021: You purchased 10 SOL for $2,500
2023: You purchased 10 SOL for $90

Total 20 SOL & $2,590

Now depending on FIFO/LIFO your calculated gain/loss is different

2024: You sold 15 SOL for $1,500

FIFO:
10 SOL out of 2021 = $2,500
5 SOL out of 2023 = $45
Total Loss: $1,500 - $2,545 = -$1,045

LIFO:
10 SOL out of 2023 = $90
5 SOL out of 2021: $1,250
Total Gain: $1,500 - $1,250 = $250
