Hm, looking at an old pdf the Busan Dark Dance was listed as Multi-Role. Considering that multi-roles got 4 Stealth for Ship Spec Bonus and Busan gets 6 Stealth for Ship Make Bonus. Plus the Busan line gets +1 to Heatsink size component = more boost to stealth. I think this one will be a ninja ship. I am definitely looking forward to the release of this one when we have combat and stealth mechanics.

And then we stake the Atlas we didn't use to buy ships to make POLIs, which we also stake to make more POLIs so we can have a vote on how the game develops. Atlas is the currency we use to trade in the game, but the ships are the real value. We need the ships to play the game. Then again this is just how I see it, could be wrong on that one.

Ah yes. You need about 1% food and the amount of ammo it will show you when you go to initiate the mining operation. It’ll also tell you how much food you’ll need to fill the cargo space. Start with about 1% food and then go to the initiate mining page and it will show how much food you need and how much ammo. Adjust it until you have exactly enough food so you can be max efficiency with mining and cargo space

Are you by chance noting that, even though you added 3 ships to your fleet, your mining time is still the same? If so, that is the correct behavior, because you are now filling up more cargo hold. So, you are mining more in the same period of time.

Your per-ship profit is going to generally be the same whether you have 5 ships or 10 (if they're the same ships), but your profit for each trip will increase, since you are mining more total.

You can also look at different ships in your fleet, as each ship has its own mining rate; some mine better than others, or cost less resources to do the same mining.

In that case, let's say you're mining Hydrogen.

2 X4's: Your total cargo is 778. It takes you 20.27 minutes to mine a full cargo.
5 X4's: Your total cargo is 1945. It takes you the same 20.27 minutes to mine a full cargo.

The difference is that you are getting 1167 more Hydrogen per load, so your profit does increase overall. Each ship is using the same amount of resources per ship to mine, regardless of how many ships you have.

For X4's, I don't really see a problem here (again, assuming I'm understanding your question). Beyond this, you can start looking at other ships, and higher tiers of ships. Every ship has different stats when it comes to mining. Here's a snippet of the Labs ship stats that I think Dom produces

Following my own topic, I assume asteroid belts will be possible to extract with regular ships. Then again it could be really inconvenient if this consumes a lot of ammo. Probably the cost of extraction the asteroids with racer ships will be huge. And probably there might be some Tufas lurking around so best to safe your ammo to protect your miners and fright ships that you sent there to work. Asteroid belts won't be protected unless you sent your own fleets there:

Except gas giant planets, those gonna be a bit special requiring only a space station. I assume we will get our hydrogen mostly from them, its typically what they are made off I think. It will be interesting to see how that mechanic will be implemented.

There is an interface bug that does not show it correctly in the website sometimes. But I have tested and works correctly when the order is taken even if it does not show in the interface. If you refresh and reconnect your wallet you should be able to see it - at least that worked for me.

We do have limit on forming a fleet currently, not sure which section you are referring exactly, but I will check.

I think the game-manuals are more focused on describing game-play in SAGE V1. Labs is kinda pre-alpha of SAGE. So for most part the game-manual does not make sense in current Labs game-play. At least I am using them to determine what ships I will need for actual game-play in future. That is why I have a power plant and mining drill that just sit there in my wallet doing nothing.

I suspect that exploiting the scanning and crafting loop with the xxShips has it's limit and Labs is going to transition into Sage V1 in the near future. Data runners will most likely have a more significant advantage over xxSmall fleets for scanning ops and crew will be a separate asset:
