you need to spam XXS ship fleets for SDU scanning, it's the most cost efficient way. Not great for QOL, but if you are a degen, doesn't really matter.

I try to scan only on tiles of 30% +

Well, as I said, the quality of life is not so great, having to sit there clicking scan all means that you are either able to do it while you are working or doing something else on your PC, which is generally what I do.

I run 10 fleets, scanning about 10k SDUs per day. that's about $900 investment for about $40/day

Yup. Also don't release new version that is missing features from previous one. We already had to rely on Labs to do stuff that was not available in Sage 3d. And taking stuff like the exit subwarp all/dock all feels like a nerf to me

I would rather have the new releases that are not fully tested on a separate address ( like the one you did for v1.labs ). Then after the community tests and most of the critical bugs are resolved it can be really pushed to substitute the old interface.

I know it is probably a pain because you need to have separate updates for backend and frontend. And prob need to do double work to ensure backward compatibility with backend and two UI. Still if you want to ensure that the player base is comfortable with such major changes - don't rush it. Put it somewhere where we can test and provide feedback while we are able to continue playing the one that we are used to.

Exactly. Working in software development, the way you do this is to have user testing BEFORE even considering changes. What's working, what's not. What can be improved. Then do a proper test in a separate address, perhaps with select volunteers. Iterate again.

Best to turn off Atlas Prime - seems like it is bugging when there are issues with the transactions. Also it charges extra. Other than that - currently there are some issues in general so the game updates the interface really slow. Hope it is all fixed soon.

Doing it like this is shooting yourself in the foot, which is really bad. While backend is a separate side from frontend, they should really, really stabilise the servers first, get some more muscle.

Perhaps upgrade from the steam powered ones they are using for something more contemporary.

Well this is SHIT programming on top of SHIT. Not only does this crash my Solflare wallet 4 times and need to reload that. Takes twenty times to even try to load. like all GT weeks peoples craft GTs to participate or selling GTs, burn a lot of SDU and components. Right now when GT gone - it will be only Mamba EX available for craft and Maxhogs (not so popular i think), Airbikes and other NEW RECIPEs noone will craft right now, craft cost pretty high, you can bought cheaper on MarketPlace.
You need something to replace GT because if people will stop crafting and burn SDU and other components - people will start to just DUMP SDU and other components...

(1) bring up your fleet cargo and then bring up your inventory on the left. Then double left click the icons in your cargo hold and it should move it to your inventory

(2) you can hold left-click and drag but this didn't work very well for me. The window was dragging with the icon and I had to drag the window all the way to the left corner before the cargo icon would move out of the fleet window.

Yeah, those fleet windows are basically modal windows except they don't hold mouse focus.

It takes a little bit of getting used to, but it is handy once you get it figured out

The other trick which you probably already know is left-click vs right-click

The left-click selects something as active on the map

Namely your fleet

And then you right-click what you want your fleet to act on

I don't have any X5s, but looking at the modules my guess is that they increase the rate at which you mine based upon their weapons (compared to other ships of that class)

They a little fighters so put them with the mining fleets rather than say data collection

well, if you don't mind clicking every few minutes you can add it to a scanning fleet and scan or you can send it to mine

basically the only 2 things you can do at the moment

Miners are pain to use for scanning . Super slow , long scan cooldown. Huge cargo and really cheap to scan , but you will spend a month out there scanning just to accidently hit terminate your fleet on your way back . They are def better for mining .
